IT'S good having a couple of early matches in the Champions League but I wish the Liverpool game hadn't been one of them.
Their trip to Red Bull Salzburg was one of those fixtures that screamed goals – and no stat suggested otherwise.
Unfortunately both sides – especially Liverpool – missed gilt-edged chances as the Reds won 2-0 to book their last-16 slot.
If it had been a later game I could have covered my treble but going under 2.5 goals cost me 3pts and my frustration was matched up and down the country by thousands of punters including our friend Greg.
I also hit the bar on my English treble with btts at Bristol City coming up and Huddersfield winning but Nottm Forest upset me by conceding a late goal at home to Middlesbrough.

It doesn't look an easy Champions League card tonight. Groups A-D have been won by PSG, Bayern Munich, Man City and Juventus while Real Madrid and Spurs have clinched runners-up spots.
So two more last-16 places are up for grabs – plus some Europa League consolations. In Group C it’s between Dinamo Zagreb, Shahktar and Atalanta for second and from Group D Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen will progress.
It’s in the hands of Shakhtar who entertain Atalanta and are a best 13-8 with Unibet but a draw will do as they better Zagreb on the head to head. Best bet here could be to go for goals as the Italians play positively and victory will send them through unless Dinamo dump Man City.
Shakhtar’s last four ties have brought up both to score and Atalanta have netted in four of their five. Both to score here is the best bet at 1-2 at McBookie.
Dinamo could be worth a look at 3-1 with McBookie against weakened City who have travelled without the likes of David Silva, Sergio Aguero and John Stones while young Phil Foden will start.
Atletico Madrid are one point clear of Bayer as they host Lokomotiv Moscow. The Spaniards to win to nil is the shout at 4-7.
Bayer could defeat a Juventus side who won’t risk Cristiano Ronaldo and others. The Germans are evens with BetVictor.

Derby have named 4 changes to the side that lost 1 nil at Blackburn. Evans, Patterson, Whittaker and Martin back in the side.
Bielik, Waghorn and a couple of others have dropped to the bench. The bench does look strong, but the starting 11 to me is suspect.
It looks like a 4-3-3 but you never really know with Derby these days. Sheff Wed have won the last 2, Derby drew our last home game on the back of 5 straight wins, it is a tough game to call. The last 3x head to heads have all seen a 1-1 scoreline.
I do think there is value in a home win @ 21/10 with bet365. I think its a tad too generous. I think the bookies have it priced like that because our away form is dreadful.
