CELTIC let me down last night and face a massive task to qualify for the next round of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw with AEK Athens.
They found it tough to break down the Greeks – even when they reduced to 10 men – and will do well to come through with at least one goal needed and maybe two.
Well done to maccathered who slated Scottish football but at the same time correctly predicted both to score. There were plenty of other winners on a night I thought PAOK had saved my bacon after coming back from 2-0 down to beat Spartak Moscow 3-2.

This one has the makings of a great game and features another tough game for Billericay after their bout with Concord midweek.
Wealdstone have had a similar start to the hosts with a 1-1 draw and a belting 4-1 opening day win – they also hold the most recent bragging rights with a 2-5 away Cup victory in February so certainly have the ammo to cause a bit of damage in Essex.

My money is on the away side to come away with the spoils here but as ever, I’d not risk anyone’s money on WDW at those prices and goals are the way to go!
The last two 2018 H2H’s saw a combined total of 9 goals with scorelines of 2-2 (at IA’s ground) and 3-2 to Njardvik at their place and given the recent form of both, we could be in for a few more.
IA could leap into top spot if they win this game in hand on Vikingur and HK don’t grab all 3 points but whichever way the cards fall today, I’d put IA riggt in the mix for promotion come the end of the campaign.
The visitors already have the best G/D in the division at +18 and won their last two games 1-3 and 5-0 against Haukar and Thor – Njardvik’s efforts against the very same sides finished 1-2 and 3-0 respectively which offers a pretty decent and very recent barometer of the potential quality difference.
Although I was tempted with Coral’s 23/20 for a 2nd half IA brace, I’ll keep the offer of the hosts chipping in to help and it’s always better to have both sides working for you!

Tonight we see the 2018-19 Scottish Premiership winners Hibernian take on Molde,
Hibernian will give teams chances because of the way we play attacking football but it could be risky going for both to score tonight as we are looking very strong at home, when we conceded at home to Runavik in a 6-1 win it was due to a wicked deflection from a free kick, next up in Europe we conceded two first half goals to Asteras which can be put down to the keeper and was due to the fact Bogdan had played very little football, it was a clean sheet against Motherwell in our last game and our defence were brilliant, also Bogdan is looking a totally different keeper now he has some games under his belt,
On the other hand Molde are no mugs and with Erling Braut Håland in the team, it’s easy to see why some of Europe’s top clubs are looking at him and he will be better than his father “Alf-Inge Haaland” in the future
We may have lost John McGinn but players come and go at every team and our squad is full of players that can step up to be counted, one thing we aren’t is a one man team, its still not certain whether any of our new signings in midfield will be ready to start and I still can’t wait till we unleash Tam Agyepong, upfront tonight we should see the reunion of Kamberi and Maclaren “Kamberi should be fit”
I would be expecting a 4-4-2 formation tonight with Bartley and Mallan in the middle, Mallan has been on fire since his arrival, scoring 5 in 5 and all were scored from outside the box with 3 free kicks, Bartley came back into the team for the Motherwell game and was outstanding but he always is,
Boyle should be on the right and hopefully Agyepong will be available for the left side, another new signing is Emerson Hyndman and if he was available then we could see a 3-5-2 formation
Darren MaGregor is struggling to be fit tonight so hopefully that will see Ryan Porteous in the team again, he has looked a real talent when playing for Hibs and was outstanding against Motherwell
The way Hibernian play means they will always score goals and we feel we can give anyone a game. I don’t fear Molde, Dinamo Minsk or Zenit so bring on the group stages, because I can see our defence getting better I think the best bet has to be Hibernian to score 2 or more, it is possible that we will concede but Hibs goals is the better value

As most agree, should be goals at Hibs tonight with Hibs perhaps having enough to take a first-leg lead to Norway next week while Rangers will look for a clean sheet and a goal to take to Slovenia. I do fancy both to progress but it will be close in both contests.
Kept the stakes relatively low tonight but I’ve gone for BTTS @Hibs and Bratislava while I fancy TNS to score in their home tie against a Danish side that few can spell without checking…Mjdititland? Something like that.
BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays @7/5 with the Danes likely to emerge with a win against a side that don’t have a great deal of European pedigree.
I also agree that Brondby are far too short for their trip east and Subotica can avoid defeat @7/4 or maybe even win @7/1.

SDA have scored in 15 of their last 20 home fixtures and despite their standing, their form has been fairly cute with just 1 loss in their last 7 and that to a Cerro Porteno side who are looking great.
