ENGLAND'S dream of winning the Women's World Cup is over and I couldn't help thinking they suffered a Scotland-type defeat.
Nothing much went right for Phil Neville's side who saw a goal chalked off by VAR then missed a late penalty as tournament favourites USA edged a 2-1 win.
The United States started well but looked like they were missing star women Morgan Rapinoe and England gave them a real test.
Tonight's second semi sees Holland take on Sweden and it should be another close call with the Dutch edging it. SlipsTips has put up his thoughts on the game here after three out of three correct tips on England v USA.
Early this morning we have the first Copa America semi-final between Brazil v Argentina and kevinmac has posted preview here.
And later it's the first Gold Cup semi-final as Haiti take on tournament favourites Mexico. Both games are tough to call but going by what we've seen so far it will be a low scorer in Brazil and probably a Mexico win although Haiti beat Canada in the last round.
Nothing I fancy strongly and I'm not touching the friendlies so it's a no bet day for me.

League champions HJK travel to newly promoted HIFK tomorrow afternoon. Interesting match Featuring a Helsinki side who’ve had a poor start to the season considering their usual high standards. They currently find themselves in 4th spot only behind leaders Ilves by 3 points however Ilves have 3 games in hand.
HIFK have had a reasonably decent start back in the top flight and have collected 15 points from their first 12 games. They do however do most of their best work at home collecting 12 of their 15 points there.
