Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: Dutch delight and VAR-iety showstopper

HOLLAND needed extra time and a slice of luck to see off England to set up what hopefully should be a thrilling Nations League Final on Sunday.

My Holland draw no bet Super Single was voided and SlipsTips had two winners from three on his match preview.

Plenty of other winners on the game and hard lines to anyone including Scott who tipped over 2.5 goals with VAR ruling out Jesse Lingard's late strike for being marginally offside.

VAR again played a big role and was kept busy and one thing I'm certain about is next season will see a rise in the number of penalties awarded when it's introduced to the Premier League. I love the new technology but decisions need to be made quicker and fans have to see them on a big screen.

We move from the Nations League to the Euro 2020 qualifiers with 12 qualifiers all bar Georgia v Gibraltar kicking off at 7.45pm and the opening match of the Women's World Cup as hosts France face South Korea.

Not an easy card with a lot of games that look tight but for a Top Treble I've come up with over 2.5 match goals at Faroes v Spain with the home side having hope of contributing and an improving Norway not to lose at home to Romania. Add France Women, who are massive favourites to open with a win, by taking them to succeed by two or more.

My both to score treble features three games all paying over evens so plenty of value. Start with Lithuania v Luxembourg which has been 2-1 to Luxembourg in both past meetings. Lithuania's last four have seen both scoring as have four out of five for the visitors.

Next take North Macedonia v Poland and while the Poles are favourites to win this will be a tough test. The Macedonians are strong at home and score plenty with four of previous six going over 2.5 goals.

Montenegro and Kosovo meet for the first time and there should be plenty of action. It's four out of five for btts in Montenegro games and four out of for the Kosovans so goals looks the way to go.

I've posted two early Super Singles. Much of my focus this weekend has been on the Scotland men's and women's teams. Steve Clarke should give the men a huge lift and I expect a comfortable win at home to Cyprus.

The women make their World Cup debut against England in Nice and while they are huge underdogs the Scots have a variety of talent up front, mostly playing in England's top flight, so every chance of at least scoring and btts pays 13-8.
