WE'RE counting down the days to the start with a busy midweek card in Europe.
Just four days until the Scottish and English leagues kick off and looking forward to a busy weekend of action.
I put up an early Scottish double and treble on Monday and hopefully both will land.
On Tuesday Celtic are involved in a dead rubber of a return Champions League tie at Nomme Kalju after winning 5-0 at home. I've previewed the game and others on a separate post and my Super Single is Celtic to win to nil against a side that looked pretty limited last week while there is reasoning for my Top Treble.

There are also four Europa League qualifiers and a raft of friendlies including Hibs v Newcastle, PSG v Sydney and Kristiansund v Man United and glorified friendlies with Real Madrid v Spurs and Bayern Munich v Fenerbahce in the Audi International Cup.

Few more anteposts I like the look of in Scotland. Kilmarnock are a side that are in trouble with the managerial change and the amount of players that have left over the summer. Stewart and Jones both left for Rangers and were 2nd & 4th top goalscorers last season. Kris & Scott Boyd both retired and the loan spells of Youssouf Mulumbu, Daniel Bachmann, Mikael Ndjoli, Liam Millar, Aaron Tshibola, and Conor McAleny all ended. They’ve signed a couple of nobodies and have only Brophy as a recognised striker in the squad. Their manager has always been an assistant and doesn’t speak English with captain Dicker doing media relations,can’t see him lasting too Xmas.
