IT wasn't an easy day for punters but last-gasp Crusaders saved my Super Single and Iceland beat the Top treble.
Crusaders netted 20 seconds from time to beat Motherwell Under-20s and my poor run with Super Singles on the site. They've been good in the Daily Record (I try to make them different on the site) and I maintained my 100 per cent record this season on Saturdays with Wycombe to score 2+.
The Irn-Bru Cup games actually went well but there weren't many markets available. I had planned a moneyback fivefold (Crusaders, Linfield, St Mirren, Raith and Dunfermline) which would have won at 15-1 but only McBookie were doing the offer with these games included so I left it out.
Elsewhere Desmond won 9pts with his main bet – Charlton and Wycombe to score 2+ – while Jordan's only tip was a winner on Raith -1AH. Greg had one winner out of three and at 4-1 it was profitable day if you backed him to level stakes.
Sunday is again dominated by the World Cup qualifers with another nine in Europe. We're back to the teams who played on Thursday so that means the likes of France, Portugal and Belgium.
France blew away Holland 4-0 and should do the same at home to Luxembourg while Belgium travel to Greece after hitting nine against Gibraltar. Portugal are also away in Hungary and should pick up a win as they try to keep the pressure on group leaders Switzerland.
Finding value on the French game isn't easy as they are 1-40 and the handicap line is set at -4. To win by five or more is highly likely but is it value at 20-23?
On a Top Treble I'm going to risk France -3 with Portugal to win and Switzerland at Latvia whose only three points have come with a win against Andorra.
I tipped Cristiano Ronaldo to score first against the Faroes and he hit a hat-trick. I'm on him to net the opener again even if it's a little skinny at a best 39-19 with unibet.
Elsewhere I'm wary about the Belgians away to a stuffy Greece and best bet at Holland v Bulgaria could be both to score. Plenty of people though tipping Bulgaria at 11-1 or Bulgaria draw no bet.
Faroes v Andorra won't get anyone's heart racing but this should be a home win at 1-2 while Cyprus could be worth a punt in Estonia after beating Bosnia 3-2 last week after trailing 2-0.

No joy with my NL/NLN bets but the Ferriby game made for interesting viewing – an incredibly young side who will struggle throughout the season – couple of good players with two standing out: winger Callum Rzonca and keeper Ross Durrant.
Watching a full 90 minutes, you can see exactly why they are struggling – no threat moving forwards and once again, the first half saw them all over the place before putting in a decent 2nd half performance.
Betting-wise it may pay to look at first half goals in upcoming games starting with their next game against Boston away and a decent Chorley outfit at home.

Scotland challenge cup games were the bankers , all the favourites won by handicap results and many goals scored, congrats who were on them.
Also well done to Mrfixit’s Crusaders which was at 2.20’ish early in the day , then dropped to 1.45 when its close to kick-off time , done the job with last minute goal and brought smiles on faces.
