I COULDN'T blame Saturday's losers on any MPs but I was done by a crazy Ayr day.
Ayr's draw at home to Stranraer beat my Top Treble and Raith's failure to score at Highland League champions downed the both to score treble so it was 2pts lost and after a recovery I've still got to work to do to recoup July losses.
Well done to all the winners including Scott with a nice 9-5 double on the members bet – he's been consistently putting up winners all summer.
Sunday sees a raft of friendlies, the final two Betfred Cup group games and some league games across the Continent. I'll have a closer look and try to put up a double or treble later or in the morning.
In the Betfred Cup Dundee v Inverness is a Group D decider with ICT leading their rivals by one goal. A draw puts both teams through to the last 16 so this could go to penalties and if it does the team who win the shootout will top the table. Queen's Park v Clyde is a dead rubber so I wouldn't go anywhere near that.
Vincent Kompany makes his competitive dugout debut at home to Oostende and his team are 4-11 at bet365 to pick up the points. Other games are Charleroi v Gent and Eupen v Antwerp.

I placed a bet on Betfred at 6/5 £350. It won and I went to check my bet and nothing there and stake returned. I contact the degenerate on live chat and he feeds me some **** that the bet was voided because of an obvious pricing error. The actual odds should have been 4/6. I asked how the **** is that an obvious pricing error and why wouldn’t you at least settle at the supposed correct odds. He then fed me some more **** and said I agreed to this in the terms when signing up before cutting me off and ending the chat.
Is there anything I can do or you suggest that I can do next? Apparently the bet was void at 6:30 and it started at 7 but why would they not email or contact me to tell me they’ve voided? I’m rather appalled to be honest.

I got stung by mansionbet last week on 2 Italian friendlies. Lazio and Atalanta were the teams had both -2 handicap and Atalanta won 6-0 and Lazio was 4/5-0 too. They voided the Atalanta game saying it was cancelled and paid out a single,wasn’t particularly happy about it tbh 😂

I think you should report it to IBAS. Firstly they’re wrong to wipe the bet without telling you and it’s a bit harsh to close the account it because you complained. As you say you might be better off elsewhere.

My Rangers pick came in I see. They left it late but a late goal brings up a winner. Last night they were priced at 9/10 with bet365, but just before kickoff, I saw it up to 23/20. I also see that although there were not the typical high number of attacks you would see in a regular fixture, Rangers did dominate on the shots. I guess the result is about how I expected it.

I’ve only looked at the Scottish leagues so far – Aberdeen should finish third probably ahead of Hibs.

Liverpool are knackered. The players that is, obviously. Them lads just want a break. But the big dollar signs force them to do these tours of Asia, America and the likes to boost the coffers the owners seek. Arsene Wenger would fight tooth and nail not to go on such exploits. Instead, he’d be just happy with pre season games against the likes of Barnet n Leyton Orient or the local likes. Finishing off with a couple of games in Austria maybe. Even Wenger succumbed to the hierarchies demands. But he knew the effects it could,and would have, on the coming season, after such physical and mental exertions. The Liverpool, City, Utd lads will go home to their loved ones and they’ll be asking when are they going on holiday. What’s a holiday? Will more than likely be the reply! Mad. But $$$$ True.
@jos,i agree 100%,the problem for Liverpool FC was UEFA’S stupid decision to move the Champions League final 3 weeks after the season had finished,i mean if it had been played as normal then the players would have had their normal holidays,I’m not unduly worried though about Liverpool’s performance because all it’s about is fitness and with Allison,Mane,Firmihno,Salah all on holiday a well oiled machine will not function as it should without it’s parts,i do think this will make Klopp look into the transfer market as money is absolutely no object,i’m just surprised he hasn’t made any additions yet apart from the youngsters he has signed,but yeah it’s all about money.
Unfortunately it is about the Dosh, Macca. Not just Pool but most of the club’s going on these end of season “safaris” hunting the extra green backs. Their gonna be extinct before long them poor green backs! I had to wean myself off how much players earn per week for the last couple of years to enjoy watching football again without been over critical of so and so. Doesn’t do any good.
