I BANKED on the big guns on Wednesday – and Aberdeen – and in the end it was little Crawley who gave me a winner.
Two Super Singles were losers on the Dons draw no bet at Rangers and a double of Chelsea -1 and Man City -1. A speculative handicap fivefold also included those two.
But Crawley's goal against Fulham kids landed the goals treble after over at Lyon v Lille and both to score at Chesterfield v Chelsea kids.
So overall wasn't the greatest of nights with Aberdeen playing poorly and Rangers getting their act together while Man City and Chelsea won at short prices but couldn't cover the handicap.
Well done to all the winners and we move on to Thursday which is much quieter. It's cup night in Italy, Spain, Belgium and Switzerland and it's a no-bet night ahead of a much better Friday card that includes Juventus v Napoli and of course Fylde v Wigan.
I'm suffering with a bit of man flu and any energy I have left will be going into studying Saturday's card. That measn no attempt to recover November's losses so I finish down after making a poor finish to the month.

My first challenge attempt fell at the gates last night, in retrospect correct scores maybe not the best way to go with that, but going to have another bash.
One game of possible interest tonight is Alaves V Getafe. If getafe go with a strong line up, similar to the one that beat alaves 4-1 a couple weeks ago then I’d fancy them to win tonight at 8/5.
A bet I definitely fancy is Cardiff to beat Norwich at 10/11 on Friday. Cardiff have won 3 in a row and are unbeaten in 7, while Norwich haven’t won in 7. So…..

Struggling with the old man flu today.
As you say the bet you picked wasn’t the right one for a challenge.
It should really be a slow builder with short prices but takes patience to from the start.
My next one will be a goals challenge.
I’ve tried the short odds way before mr f and failed just the same lol. Worst one I can remember is getting up to £600 odds, sticking it all on Michael van Gerwen at 1/5 or so, only for him to lose. But that’s betting for you
Reason I went with a 0-0 ht result was I’d successfully backed it in the liverpool v man u, chelsea v man u and burnley v arsenal games and thought I’d found a good wee market.
If you find something you look then do it – as you say every bet has a risk.
