THE Champions League is much maligned but there's no doubt it produces quality in the later stages.
First there was Cristiano Ronaldo's wonder goal at Juventus and then Liverpool's incredible first-half display against Man City that earned them a three-goal lead.
You'll get short odds on Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern and Barcelona making up the last four and hopefully the Spanish clubs avoid each other and we get two fascinating ties.
Man City will have something to say about that though and while they won 5-0 against Liverpool at the Etihad I can't see a comeback – especially when they are likely to concede an away goal.
Liverpool, and especially their defence, have improved so much since then and I just can't see them losing by three or four against a side who were made to look ordinary at Anfield yet could clinch the title on Saturday.
City are 6-1 at Marathonbet to qualify and while an early goal on Tuesday will make it interesting I'd want bigger than that.
I had over 2.5 goals at Liverpool on a treble but was let down by Rennes v Monaco finishing 1-1. At least that bet was closer than the Super Single with Celtic failing to cover the handicap or even scoring at home to Dundee.
Well done to all the winners including maccathered whose confidence in his Liverpool side once again paid dividends.

I had my own 4 fold including same teams and I went big but had Liverpool match BTTS. Can’t quite describe how I feel right now.
Gutted would be the word,as i stated yesterday the bookies had City at 7/5 to tempt people and the 2/1 was there to put people off backing Liverpool,easy to say now but never were City going to beat us ,i have said all along we are as good if not better than them although the league table would suggest otherwise,this Liverpool team will be feared by Barcelona and Bayern,if Real Madrid draw Barcelona in the semi’s then back Liverpool to in the Champions league,thanks for all your kind comments.

I disagree when you say a bet is only value if it wins. If you got 10/1 on Celtic beating Rangers and they only drew, were they not value? Conversely is it good value if you bet on them at 1/20 and they do win? Obviously not.

Hoping for some redemption today with these. While I don’t think there will be the same level of quality and excitement in tonight’s 4 Europa ties as there was in the champions league, I do think there will be goals- in 3 of the 4 ties anyway. Best bet for me is btts at arsenal at what I think is a generous price. CSKA have netted in every away euro match this season with the exception of 1 (which was in their winter break) and the list is Man U Lyon, benfica and Basel, so a shaky arsenal back line shouldn’t hold much fear for them. 11/10 is best price at bet 365 and hills.
