IT was a great night for goals in the Champions League and that was right up Greg's street.
He was quids in with his total goals tips and his nap was also a winner. Chelsea's 4-4 draw with Ajax bring up the goals and the game was a cracker with the nine-man Dutch even threatening to win it at the end after blowing a 4-1 lead.
If you'd backed both to score in the six later kick-offs you'd have been quids in and the Goals Show certainly lived up to its name.
Valencia and both to score at Lyon landed for me but Liverpool -2 beat my Top Treble. Jurgen Klopp made one too many change for a romp but the Reds just about got the job done – I did though back Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to score.
My 1pt English treble lacked goals at Rochdale and Shrewsbury so a disappointing night but not a lot of damage done.
Well done to all the winners and there were plenty although quite a few lost out on Barcelona's 0-0 draw with Slavia Prague. I left them out because they were too short and it was the early game and they looked really poor.
There are another eight Champions League games tonight including Atalanta v Man City and Red Star Belgrade v Spurs and don't forget Guimaraes v Arsenal a day early in the Europa League.
Sometimes when there are a night full of goals the following sees fewer but I'm putting up a goals treble as my only bet and it will be fully reasoned on my CL preview. I've included the Arsenal game with the Gunners on fire in the El and scoring 20 in five ties. It was 3-2 against Guimaraes at the Emirates and should go over 2.5 goals again.

A Trickier night in champions league I would say

Spurs have a very leaky defence at moment and red star are a different team at home
Athletico were very unlucky to not win at Sevilla at weekend and looked a real threat going forwards. They also seem to be more attack minded in champ league this year and recall they played both morata and Costa in the away game in Russia also and looked full of goals
Also going with red star and Athletico to win @ 11/1 for 2 pts. Using B365 this will payout if the team goes 2-0 ahead which in hindsight I should have done for the Inter Milan game

This is a very profitable bet lately- it as come in 8 times in their last 10 matches.
Nice spot! A friend of mine did something similar with Atletico under Simeone last season, think they’re drawing a lot of games currently.

There’s a game on tonight in the Sheffield and Hallamshire county cup that holds a bit of interest for me. Worksop town take on Ecclesfield Red Rose. I’m reasonably well versed on the English lower leagues but had never heard of Ecclesfield. After a bit of research found that they are mid table in the Sheffield County league which is step 11 in the pyramid. Worksop are in Northern Division 1 which is step 8. Only seems to be bet 365 offering the game at the moment. I’ve taken Worksop half/full time and over 4 goals at 10/3. Worksop should win this well.
