THERE weren't as many goals on Wednesday as there were on Tuesday but just enough for my Super Single to land.
I was struggling to find value so put up over 2.5 match goals at Anderlecht, Barcelona and Bayern Munich and it landed fairly early.
The Top Treble won late on thanks to Juventus and that also kept the Betting Club alive to complete a good night. And Bet of the Day won too for a full house.
Well done to all the winners including the maverick maccathered with his red-card double.
Thursday is all about the Europa League and as regulars know I don't like it for betting.
Everton will face a tough task at home to Lyon if the French field a strong side while Arsenal will expect to win at Red Star Belgrade but may not put out a strong enough side to do so.
Nice v Lazio could be the tie of the night and could be good for goals if again both sides play their star strikers and while the Italians are unlikely to lose they are missing four or five through injury.
My first thought was to make it no bet day but having made around 40pts since Sunday I'm risking two 1pt Top Trebles.
Zulte-Vitesse was on my both to score shortlist so it's go to see Jordan fancies goals here. Also backing the Nice v Lazio game as on their day both are capable of netting several and I'm adding Red Star v Arsenal with the Serbs having struck in their last four European ties.
The Top Treble is banking on AC Milan fielding a strong side at home to AEK Athens as they attempt to make it three wins from three. Add Dynamo Kiev to also maintain their 100 per cent record against Young Boys.
My final selectton is Ostersunds not to lose at home to Athletic Bilbao. The surprise guy Swedes have beaten Zorya and Hertha Berlin and I can't imagine Athletic Bilbao's stars will welcome a visit to the northern outpost more associated with ski-ing.
Ostersunds have risen through the ranks under English boss Graham Potter and some of their success is tro do with their location and plastic pitch. Take them not to lose at over evens and keep stakes small tonight.

I was looking at this game last night but was put off by the fact Lyon will be without 5 first team players,Mendy,Morel,cheikh,diop,Grenier,also top scoreer diaz all out for this clash.

@liamw cheers you could say that lol should actually be in slight profit after not being able to place a treble that went onto to win 2 weeks ago. The secret is to keep at it and always have the odd good run to cancel out the bad ones
@wato yeah think I recall that, was it Betstars? Assume they sorted it since you’re still using them at times? Yeah you’re bang on, it’s all about the long run and being disciplined!
@liamw yeah was indeed mate. They have said they have a max limit on the smaller leagues which I can understand but when it’s as low as £3.82 for a double or treble then whats the point. Singles and the odd double seem to be ok and should be ok for the higher leagues but as you seen below I have selections from the arse hole of nowhere at times lol and just got frustrated at not being able to get a treble on and therefore didn’t bother with the singles and doubles even which then of course went onto win. Hopefully I will be able to use Bet Victor more going forward as they are by far the best.
