Couldn’t agree more Macca there will be goals a plenty at Anfield despite Liverpool containing in my eyes the best centre half on the planet right now in VVD. Tuesday’s 8 UCL fixtures
Had good look through Tuesday’s card and it didn’t take me long to rule out touching any of the English Championship matches, looks like a minefield
Instead, i’ll be focuing on the Champions league, specifically goals courtesy of the Skybet total match goals market. There are some terrific looking games and I feel Skybet are being quite generous with the markets they have set
From the 8 games, 23+ goals to be scored is in with a really good chance based on the matches being played
Barcelona v PSV, Liverpool v PSG and Club Brugge v Dortmund all look to have the potential to have goals, and id be very surpised if these three didnt bring in at least 10-12 goals betwen them, especially with Barca Liverpool and PSG in action. The past 2 games we’ve really missed Hernandez, he’s the sort of player who can create something out of nothing when things aren’t going your way. However Harrison looks good and got us the equaliser against millwall.
Roberts, who has come in for roofe looked good against millwall, he had 4 good chances although didn’t get his goal, can’t understand people berating him though, he’s not even 20 yet and was making his full debut, he looked sharp and his movement was good. he will get the service tonight and I hope he gets his goal.

I thought we’d make 4 changes, we’ve made 3. Lawrence out was because of his red card, Bryson in for Huddlestone which seems the right way and Waghorn out for Nugent. In fairness to Waghorn, he never really got a sniff up front on Saturday. Bennett can be menacing, he’s spent most of this season making late cameo appearances and he’s earning his stripes when he’s on the pitch. I’d like to see what he can do over 90 minutes, he’s been with the club coming through the academy and I think he’s ready. An extra 10% from everyone on the pitch tonight and we’ll get the win. Surely it acnnot be any worse than the rubbish we had to endure on Saturday.
