STEVE CLARKE insisted Kilmarnock could win the league – Celtic players showed that idea was just ridiculous.

I tipped Killie to run the champions close at a big price but Brendan Rodgers's side showed no mercy to leapfrog them to the top of the table.

That beat the Killie +2 Super Single and Rangers can return to first place if they win by four goals at Dundee. That's a tough ask against an improving side, without leading marksman Alfredo Moreles and a Europa League trip to Austria to come I'm sure Steven Gerrard will settle for any win. I've posted a Dundee vs Rangers preview.

With the Champions League groups finishing on Tuesday and Wednesday it's a fairly quiet Sunday with Newcastle v Wolves the Premier League offering and that's not easy to call.

Games to look at on the Continent include Huesca vs Real Madrid which kevinmac has previewed, Milan v Torino, Borussia M'gladbach v Stuttgart, St Etienne v Marseille and Sporting v Aves.

I've found it tough to pick much today but going with two trebles. First up it's goals – both to score at Basel v Zurich and Empoli v Bologna and over 2.5 goals at Sporting v Aves.

The Swiss game was flagged up by hairyheid and wasclueless so here's hoping. Empoli's last six have seen both scoring and it's happened in five out of six for Bologna. There have been 27 goals in Empoli's last six and 20 in those five of Bologna's although there other game finished 0-0.

Five of Sporting's last six have also seen both scoring and it's the same in Aves' last four.

I'm starting the Top Treble with Borussia Monchengladbach and I'm sure they'll feature on loads of lines. They've been beasts at home and still boast a 100 per cent record with 18 goals scored and just three conceded. Stuttgart have picked up just four points on the road from 21.

Add Real Madrid at a Huesca side who have lost four in a row. Real look back on track after successive 2-0 wins against Roma and Valencia as well as a crushing cup win by their reserves and should win this by at least two – although for the purpose of the treble I'm taking them just to win.

Complete the treble with Nacional draw no bet at home to a Boavista side that's failed to score in four. Both sides are struggling but Nacional have lost just one in five and come into this on the back of league wins against Aves and Maritimo so things are looking up. Should win but I'm playing safe with draw no bet.

Well done to all the winners on Saturday including Greg who napped over 2.5 goals at Celtic and Scott Allot with top-notch European trebles out of two. Scott has picked a members bet and posted some match previews today.

My Top Treble became a winning 9-10 double with Sunderland abandoned and the moneyback fivefold was voided with four out of five winners. My other bet was a loser on both teams to score.

Remember to check welovebetting for their latest tips and video chat.

3pts Top Treble

  • B M'gladbach (5pm)
  • Real Madrid (3.15pm)

Didn’t post the draw for Chesterfield on Saturday (mainly because I thought Salford would beat us!) So, delighted the spireites finally got a league win at the 20th attempt! Very much a deserved victory on the performance too

    Genoa v Spal
    Serie A 5pm

I Tipped the Genoa game last Sunday for btts which won in the first half and I’m going to look at the same bet again on Sunday as they host Spal. Genoa have conceded in their last 10 in all comps and scored in 9 of these games with 8 going over 2.5.

Spal aren’t as prolific in the btts stakes but have brought up the bet in 4 of their last 5 only failing to score away at juventus with all 4 of the same games bringing in over 2.5

      • fraser51 5 days ago

It should come in, Hearts/Celtic have won easily there and Dundee didnt land a punch at Ibrox.

Although these are the type of away games Rangers sleep through. Any type of win i would take before the big european game.

    *Repost from yesterday*

I’ll get old faithful up today just incase the bookies eventually twig that Carrarese are being a gift on the goals markets and drop prices. I’ll keep backing them till they do

    🇮🇹 Seria C Group A

    Carrarese v Pistoiese

What have I not said about top of the table Carrarese in the past few weeks that they haven’t delivered on. They’re the top scorers in Italys 14 divisions between Seria A-D with 39 goals and last week cemented that place with a 5-0 win away at a Pro Piacenza side that drew 3-3 with Pistoiese.

This week they entertain 3rd from bottom Pistoiese who have conceded 2+ in 6/12 outings but haven’t faced an attacking force like Carrarese so far. The 4/5 on Carrarese to score 2+ is a gift wrapped ticket from 🎅

Let’s get into the meat and bones with stats…

Carrarese have 39 goals in 14 games and have conceded 20 which gives a goals per game average at a whopping 4.21 and at home that average rises too 4.67 with 20 goals scored and 8 conceded in 6 games. They’ve scored 2+ in 11/14 including every home game, they’ve scored 3+ in 8/14 including 5/6 homes. Homes results…

The away side sit 3rd bottom having played 12 games but that could be worse but for the fact they’ve played 8 of the other 9 who occupy the bottom half of the bottom with themselves. They’ve only conceded 2 in their last 5 games but that’s about too come too an abrupt end tomorrow.

    Carrarese o1.5tgls 4/5 NAP 👌
    O2.5tgls 5/2
    O3.5tgls 6/1
    O4.5tgls 10/1

They’ve covered the handicap in 4/6 homes so

    Carrarese – 1 13/8
    Carrarese – 2 4/1

Prices have drifted slightly which has no complaints here

    O1.5tgls 5/6
    O2.5tgls 5/2
    O3.5tgls 13/2
    O4.5tgls 11/1

    Handicap – 1 7/4
    Handicap – 2 9/2

Might have spotted a bit of value with Paddypower….
Rangers are currently top of the league for poorest disciplinary record and Paddy is offering 10-11 for over 10 booking points. Skybet have 20+ at 4-11 whilst O2.5 cards is 6-5 with 365.
I’ll be adding to a treble today
Rangers over 10 booking points 10-11
Carrarese to win 4-7 (Mr h)
Basle v Zurich btts 1-2 (Liamw)
    Treble pays 7-2 (paddypower)

Bit frustrating as paddypower don’t offer team goals on the Carrarese game or I’d be taking them to score two and both games ko at 130….

Well done all winners yesterday and good luck with your bets today 👍

Mr F, appreciate he already does more than enough but any chance we could persuade Scott Allot to do a regular Sunday euro treble? His tips on a Saturday are gold (usually goes close if it doesn’t land) and Sunday euro card is usually as good as a Saturday between Italy, Spain and Holland games. Just a suggestion…thanks to all for the hard work in making the site so successful 👍

Few bets I like today and I’ll start with the aforementioned Carrarese in a teams to score 2+ double. The other game features high flyers Arezzo entertaining Alessandria.

    Arezzo v Alessandria

Arezzo sit 4th just 2pts behind Carrarese at the top. They’ve lost just once this season and remain unbeaten in 7 home outings. They’ve scored 18 & conceded 10 which isn’t great tbh but have netted 2+ in 5/7 homes. They’ve scored 10 across their last 5 against some tough opposition….beating 2nd Piacenza 2-0 away, Pro Vercelli 3-1 at home, 2-1 away at Novara and a 2-2 draw with Carrarese.

Alessandria are in 15th with 2 wins, 7 draws and 5 defeats. They’ve have failed too win any of their last 7 outings and have conceded 11 in their last 5 against teams in the top half of the table…. Piacenza 3-0 at home, Cuneo 3-0 at home, Pro Vercelli 1-1 away, Virtus Entella 3-1 away, Carrarese 3-2 at home.

Fancy Arezzo too grab a couple at home at a generous 6/5

    Arezzo o1.5tgls 6/5

    Arezzo & Carrarese o1.5tgls double 3/1

What a day Saturday turned out to be! One of those days where everything I touched turned to gold! Hopefully can carry on to Sunday.
Here are my selections. Early one for the NAP starting at 11.00. Reus have managed the 2-3 goal bracket in 7 of their last 8 away games. Alcorcon are easily winning at home but now blowing teams way. Expect a 2-0 or 3-0 to the home side here. Good luck if you choose to follow.

Man City 4/11 for the Premier League title, very skinny indeed given their injury list.If City progress further than the last 16 in the Champions league then all eyes will be on that comp for them, any backers should be looking at the length of David Silva’s injury as he is a massive player for them one that they don’t have cover for.

    • sean ireland 5 days ago

Ive a feeling you are making that comment whilst kneeling, hands firmly clasped with your head bowed in quiet prayer, would i be correct in that assumption Macca?lol

      • maccathered 5 days ago

Nah,i know Man City they dont fare well under pressure at all. It’s good to see the Premier League being competitive with the big sides in the top four all competing.Man Utd are in their own little mini league fighting for a Europa league place, unless they win the Champs league of course.

        • wax 5 days ago

Silva’s injury didn’t look too serious and with De Bruyne due back soon they should be fine. Don’t forget if Liverpool don’t get the result they need against Napoli they’ll have Thursday night football to deal with.

          • maccathered 5 days ago

@wax That doesn’t matter a jot,i’m on about next seasons Champs league,if we don’t go through on Tuesday then it doesn’t matter as the main focus is on winning the Premier League title, that is number one priority, still unbeaten with a solid defence. The 0-4 win at Bournemouth surprised me as i thought the game would have been much tougher. To win such a game without breaking into a sweat gives us fans confidence. As for the Man Utd game we will have to see what happens 6/1 on united to win is big given they beat Fulham 4-1 i mean that result for United now means they are going to beat everybody, for me though Man Utd will have to play out of their skin to get anything at Anfield.

            • wax 5 days ago

Of course it matters. To go from being beaten finalists to not even reaching the knock out stages is shocking especially after spending the money Liverpool have. I’m just wondering if Liverpool stay unbeaten but win nothing this year again would you consider it a good or bad season.

        • sean ireland 5 days ago

Ahh well enjoy it whilst you can Macca but you are overlooking 1 important factor which is the reason the bookmakers who are no fools which is that sh1te will sometimes float but given time it will eventually sink lol also i have a feeling which i know you will disagree with in very strong terms that Liverpool may get a surprise when facing United 16th December i can honestly see United avoiding defeat in that game, will be a lot closer than you may think.

It seems all the best games were on yesterday with today looking a bit poorer. I’m going for cards again today and some good value punts that should give me a run for my money.
Genoa v spal 50 or more booking points evens.
Bologna most booking points (card Asian handicap -0.5 on bet365) 1.90
Levante most booking points (card Asian handicap -0.5 on bet365) 1.90.

Huesca most booking points on skybet looks a good bet but poor price 1.67. maybe good for an accumulator.

DELIGHTED to see Borussia M’gladbach playing at home today, they are absolutely ruthless and should secure another 3 points at home to struggling Stuttgart

    Borussia M’gladbach v Stuttgart (KO 5pm)

There can’t be many teams who are as dominant at home as the todays hosts – they’ve won all 6 matches (2-0 2-1 3-1 4-0 3-0 4-1) and will be looking to continue their 100% home record against a Stuttgart side who are very much in a relegation battle.

One reason for Gladbach’s terrific start to the season is the form of striker Thorgen Hazard – The 25 year old has 9 goal sin his last 10 matches and he absolutely loves playing at home as he aims to make it 6 consecutive home matches with a goal.

The visitors away from in the league is grim viewing – played 8 – L5 – D1 – W1. This will be their biggest test to date on the road and I can’t see them leaving here with anything against a side who have been terrific this season especially at home.

Gladbach are too short to back as a single (1/2) but a market I like is match result and over 1.5 goals, a outcome that has landed in all 6 of their home games.

    Recommended Bet

•Borrusia M’gladbach to win and over 1.5 goals
    •3/4 (Ladbrokes) (NAP)

AC Milan V Torino BTTS 19/20 – half stake
All Games in Serie A BTTS so far today … stats support this one as well. AC have not kept a CS at home this season. Torino in decent form and have scored in 3/4 of their away games.

    River Plate v Boca Juniros

The bookies aren’t taking any chances when it comes to cards despite this match being played in Madrid – it’s been set ridiculously high

Whilst there will likely be bookings I’m
going to go against the grain and back unders in the bookings markets

10/11 for under 9 cards looks too good to ignore and is worth a small interest

These players better have plenty more in the locker for extra time, missing I’m a celeb for this!

Tevez looking eager to make a late impact in the game, inevitable he comes on surely. Could be a gamechanger.

    Hi Bullseye,

I follow your excellent corner and multicorner tips from time to time. I missed the opening part of todays but did put on

    Germany Bundesliga I 17:00
Borussia M’gladbach vs VfB Stuttgart – over 24.5 multi corners ✅

Paddypower have this down as a loss, which meant that the treble I had up lost, which included Newcastle/Wolves >0.5 mg and Real Sociedad/Valladolid >4 fh corners, which both won.

So did above mc corner bet win as if I so I should go back to PP.

    Thanks in advance.

Was due to lose a lot of money today after a dull Sunday and breaking the rules and chasing! Won it back plus some on two games thanks to the tips from hull in the Bolivian league and Greg Witt his bundesliga tip as got good odds second half. Great tipping as always guys keep it up!
