STORM CIARA dominated proceedings on Sunday and turned a good betting day into a bit of a damp squib.
I limited myself to one bet – a goals treble – and while the games at Real Betis and Inter produced big time I was let down earlier by a bizarre 0-0 at Bayern Munich.
All the other games I looked at for goals and rejected due to the weather landed such as BSC v Glasgow and PSG v Lyon.
At least Hibs covered the -2 handicap to land my treble from Saturday so after all of that I'm 0.5pts down on the advised accas.
I tipped Sheffield United to beat Bournemouth but scrapped my plan to put them up as the Super Single because of the weather.
Well done to anyone who picked a winner and let's hope the winds die down over the next few days.
Monday's quiet anyway and it's all about a handful of lower-league games in France, Germany, Italy and Holland.
It's going to be a no bet day for me but there will be tips from the usual contributors.
Tuesday's much busier and I've been looking at those fixtures. There are stacks of games in the Football League as well as Hamilton v Aberdeen nil in the Scottish Premiership.
That's what the Dons are being called up here after five games without scoring although they must fancy their chances against an Accies who have conceded eight to Celtic and Rangers in the past week.
In England the big games include Brentford v Leeds and I'm putting the Bees up as an early Super Single after profiting from backing against the Elland Road men on Saturday.
Nottm Forest were my 3-1 Super Single and bookies have learned their lesson by making Brentford favourites but 6-4 with bet365 and others is still worth taking.
Leeds are clinging on to second after a horror run of four defeats in five and fifth-placed Brentford, who habe netted eight in two wins against Hull and Middlesbrough, will leapfrog them with a win.
Forest are up to fourth and I'm putting them at home to Charlton on a treble with Peterborough, who are going for nine wins in a row at home to Southend, and Sunderland at home to Rochdale. That pays 21-10 at Sky Bet.

Anyway, I placed a bet in a WH shop on Saturday, offer 12 – celtic and hibs to lead at 20 mins at 11/2.
When I went to collect the guy in the shop said it was with the traders as there was a mix up of offer codes and it was now offer 3 and it was both to lead after 15 mins, which lost.
I phoned up and they said that it was a palpable error and wont be paying out. As a goodwill gesture id get my money back.
A typical bookies response but I dont think it’s right. I could accept the price being wrong but changing the bet cant be on. The offer was on the counter all day saturday and they realise it’s wrong when it wins.
