GREG was the star of the show on Saturday with a full house of goals winners.
I think someone said they backed the roll-up to 43-1 so that was good shooting.
Both my goals trebles were beaten by one – and frustratingly if I'd backed them over 2.5 goals instead of btts they'd have landed.
St Mirren were my worst result of the day as they stumbled to a poor 3-0 loss at Dunfermline. That gubbed the Super Single and I was empty-handed on a day where I advised caution with WDW bets.
Jordan was spot on with Ipswich who I agreed were too big at home to Bolton, Desmond's btts double won at 12-5 and Selectabet will land a second full house in a row if Chelsea score 2+ against Arsenal.
Talking of Chelsea they have a brilliant record at home to the Gunners and I fancy them to six in a row against Arsene Wenger's side. The champions have hit some form, winning four in a row, and like Arsenal rested players including Alvaro Morata for European ties in midweek.
Instead of taking the straight Chelsea win I'm raising the stakes with Chelsea and over 1.5 match goals at 23-20 with BetStars. The last six at Stamford Bridge have produced 25 goals with two 2-0s being the lowest total.
The other Premier League game sees Man United meet Everton and even without Paul Pogba they look bankers for the return visit of Wayne Rooney and Co.
Everton were easily batted aside by Atalanta in the Europa League in midweek and that's three defeats in a row without scoring.
Romelu Lukaku faces his former side having made a seamless move to Old Trafford. The £75million man has failed to score in just one game for club and country this season and is 5-6 at 10Bet to hit the target again. I'm happy to risk 1pt on the Belgian to score first at 11-4 with bet365.

Morning gents. Ipswich provided the goods yesterday, and Sunday see’s less value on my angles, but hopefully not risking too much here. Salzburg were backed heavily to win in Portugal on Thursday but could only get a draw after the majority of efforts at goal. It’s now a quick turnaround for their away trip to Mattersburg who have lost four of their last five, conceding 13 goals in the process. Salzburg haven’t won here since 2013, with five of the last six between these two in Mattersburg seeing BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals.
Salzburg have only conceded five goals in their seven games, but could be due another here with only playing Thursday, which you can back BTTS @ 19/20 @ 365. After a good look, there’s not a whole lot I like today – a rarity for a Sunday card.
Therefore, I’m heading to Turkey again in search for goals as one game stood out in particular.
If you asked your average Joe down the pub to name every Turkish club he knows, chances are he’d pick out Galatasary, Fenerbahce and, if he knows his stuff, Besiktas, too. In the less competitive European leagues, the more recognisable names are usually priced to reflect their status – after all, who has ever heard of Alanyaspor?
This season, however, Fenerbahce have started in a manner not befitting their status. Just 1 win in their opening 4 fixtures in the league have occurred in and amongst their shocking defeat to Macedonian side FK Vardar over both legs (2-0, 2-1) in the Europa League qualifiers. A horse racing punter might see Fenerbahce’s poor form as being ‘franked’ given that Vardar went on to lose 0-5 at home to Zenit in their opening EL group game.
16 Goals in Fenerbahce’s 4 league games have seen the BTTS and Overs market land, including against Genclerbirligi who sit bottom of the table. Including Europe, that’s 12 goals conceded in their 6 competitive fixtures this season and 9 scored. Alanyaspor come into this one having seen BTTS land in their opening three league games before picking up a good 2-0 win on the road last time.
These sides have met on just five occasions previously. Since a 10-3 cup defeat in 2008, Alanyaspor have scored in each meeting, playing out a couple of friendlies (2-2, 2-1) before last season’s league meetings saw a 1-1 draw in Fenerbahce before Fener picked up the points in a 3-2 reverse. That’s five meetings, five times BTTS, four times BTTS and Overs.
Will that trend continue?

Saturday produced a winning 1/1 NAP with Burnley claiming a 1.1 draw at Liverpool but It was still a largely frustrating day as Spurs and Mainz drew blanks to deny my NB selections while I was denied a 50/1, 5 fold as Christian Eriksen failed to keep up his fine scoring record against Swansea. Frustrating.
4 of my 5 pocket change picks landed as well as my 2 tips from the Hibs Motherwell tie which hopefully helped some of you to some acca successes but we move on to Sunday’s action and I’ve got a bumper preview with a huge game at Stamford Bridge covered in detail as Chelsea welcome London rivals Arsenal in a fixture that seems destined to go in only one direction.

Final Verdict
Something tells me that this might well be the final nail in the coffin of Professor Wenger with an unsettled Arsenal looking ripe for a real beating here at the hands of champions Chelsea.
Of course, this is a coffin that has been a work in progress for at least 3 years now and I don’t for one second expect Wenger to leave Arsenal before the season is out but surely a heavy loss here will leave him clinging to power in a fashion that could make even Teresa May blush.
Chelsea have certainly started the season in stronger style and I am happy to smash into the hosts at 4/5 odds on for the win and to score 2 or more @8/13. Indeed, I fancy 3, 4 or even 5 for a Chelsea side that are simply too strong for an Arsena team that seem utterly rudderless, fumbling about with an in-fashion 3.5.2 formation with a group of players that seem to have grown accustomed to mediocrity, especially when it comes to away fixtures against the divisions top teams.
I have always been an enormous fan of Wenger but surely he must now be feeling some tinge of regret at having signed a new contract on the back of that fine FA Cup final win in May. The perfect exit-point was there for the taking but Wenger elected to carry on with a team that has certainly failed to improve in the last 2 years. All of the same weaknesses from 1, 2, 5 or even 8 years ago have remained. Arsenal are still Arsenal. Occasionally dazzling, but rarely winning on rival territory and I can’t see that changing here at Stamford Bridge against an impressive Chelsea that continue to flourish under Antonio Conte.
In Conte, Chelsea have developed a real identity and in Alvaro Morata they seem to have found the perfect replacement for outgoing Diego Costa. Morata can score anytime at 10/11 while Eden Hazard is another I like to score @11/8.
That being said, Arsenal have performed better when the least is expected of them but few will fancy them to claim even a draw here and I fully expect Chelsea to pull the Gunners pants down and I will be backing them to win, to score 2 or 3 and to win on the handicap.
Chelsea to score 2 or more @8/13 has to be one of the best bets of the day while I can’t look past the home win @4/5 and the 2/1 on Chelsea to score 3 or more has to be worth serious consideration.
Sorry Arsenal fans, this could get ugly.

Hertha were rotten on their travels last season and with the added distraction of European football, I don’t expect them to get anything here against a team that knows how to win at home.
Hoffenheim have only lost 4 of their last 37 league fixtures and with no losses in their last 19 on home territory, I expect them to edge to victory in what should be a low-scoring affair with both sides perhaps feeling the effects of their midweek European exertions.
Hoffenheim to win @7/10 is certainly the safest pick and considering recent form, I fancy this one to go under 2.5 goals at generous 1/1 odds.

Just a word of warning against Chelsea backers. I think they will struggle today. Arsenal mainly struggled vs Costa and Hazard, neither of who feature in their starting line up. I am still very optimistic Arsenal will score 2 goals as well as getting minimum of a point. So I am also siding with Arsenal DC @ 6/4

Neither did I, I thought it would be a high scoring draw i.e a 2-2. Think it was obvious they missed costa’s presense too. Perhaps if Hazard had started they would have standed more of a chance as he looked the most threatening in the last 25min of the game
