THE Beast from the East continues to cause mayhem and already many weekend games have bit the dust.
I'll give an update tomorrow but the best bet will be to hold off until around Saturday lunchtime and see what's left or concentrate on Europe.
In Scotland Saturday's two Premiership clashes between St Johnstone and Hamilton and Ross County v Partick are off but all four Scottish Cup quarter-finals remain on.
Every other senior game in Scotland has been postponed except Alloa v East Fife on plastic and between two teams not too far apart.
In England all the Premier League matches are on course to beat the weather but most of League and League Two has already gone as well as four in the Championship.
The big Scottish Championship game between Dundee United and St Mirren tonight has been wiped out but Middlesbrough v Leeds is still on.
Big games on the Continent include B M'gladbach v Werder Bremen, Porto v Sporting and Monaco v Bordeaux. There are the usual Jupiler League and French Ligue 2 games for goals so look out for tips.
Porto are eyeing up a win that will leave Sporting out of the title race but three games this season have totalled one goal – a 1-0 Porto success and two 0-0s – so don't expect goals. Under 2.5 pays 13-16 at 188Bet. I don't like unders bets but let's go with the stats.
Form also suggests Monaco will score 2+ at home to Bordeaux. They have netted 2+ in their last six – a total of 18 goals – and won 2-0 at Bordeaux in October.
Saying I've gone with stats bets let's add a third. Both have scored in meetings between Roda and Heracles in the last five meetings with four going over 3.5 goals. Five of Roda's last six and four of Heracles' previous six have seen boith score so go with that.

Not liking the card too much tonight.
Obviously you’d expect goals at Almere but there’s seemingly not much value there.
However, Jong Ajax have conceded 2+ in 9 of their last 10 aways, including at some lower scoring sides (Jong Utrecht, Waalwijk). Almere drew a blank last time out but are better scorers on their own turf. They’ve scored 2+ in 9 of their 12 home league games, and managed a goal in all 12. Clearly, it’s obvious why goals are fancied and the bookies have priced it up accordingly.
What sticks out is on the price of Almere scoring 2 in the context of price around on goals. BTTS and O3.5 Match Goals is 5/6 yet you can get bigger than that on Almere contributing 2.
Always a danger with these reserve sides that the odd first team player might show up, and I guess that’s why they are often priced as favourites – but I think Almere goals are too big here.
