Mr Fixit’s Goals Tips: There’s life in Fife

ON Saturdays I normally put up two both to score trebles – one from Scottish football and the other from England.

This weekend both trebles feature over 2.5 goals and both to score as not may stand out for the latter.

Start with Championship leaders Dunfermline at home to lowly Brechin. The Pars have scored three a game in the league and 13 on three trips to Glebe Park so could cover over 2.5 goals on their own.

Same goes for Fife rivals Raith who are heading back to the Championship after last season's surprise relegation. They have netted 22 in six games with eight in three at home to Airdrie.

Add both to score at Ross County v Hibs with all of Hibs' six Premiership matches going this way. They keep conceding cheap goals but have the firepower to worry sides at the other end.

In England I'm starting with overs at Man City v Crystal Palace. City blew away Watford last week and 6-0 could have been 10. That's 11 goals in two league games and you have to fear for Roy Hodgson's Palace who are without a goal or point.

Leicester and Liverpool meet at the King Power four days after the Foxes won 2-0 in the EFL Cup at the same venue. Both sides were weakened, especially Jurgen Klopp's men, and I expect more goals with both scoring in the Saturday night game.

Two of the last three meetings have brought this up and this season Leicester have netted in every game except Man United away while Liverpool's only league blank was at Man City.

Complete the treble with btts at Barnet v Crawley which I'm taking mainly on stats – the last three at Barnet being 2-2, 4-2 and 1-2.

Barnet's last five have brought up btts with a total of 23 goals and Crawley have netted in all of their away games in League Two this season.
