RANGERS won't play like they did in the Champions League at Ibrox last season. That's a given – but Turkish visitors Bursaspor might batten down the hatches which could result in a show similar to the one we witnessed at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago.

So the clever money will be on the unders market with William Hill going 17-20 on fewer than 2.5 goals. Hopefully we'll see at least one from Rangers' second Group C game and if the home score it's likely to come from the boot of the prolific Kenny Miller.

The Scotland star has hammered in 10 from six SPL starts this season and is 7-5 with Paddy Power to score and 9-2 to hit the opener.

Rangers conceded 10 at home last season and Walter Smith hated watching the goals fly in. He won't go gung-ho with Miller possibly on his own up front and if it's not 0-0 look at 1-0 for the Scottish champions. Miller is 5-1 with Hills to score two or more, 25-1 for a hat-trick and 13-2 to score first in a Gers win.

No scorer pays 9-1 at Skybet while 1-0 is 6-1 with Stan James.

Bursaspor are unknown at this level but will be smarting from their opening 4-0 defeat to Valencia and a home win can be considered at evens with bet365 and totesport.

People who don't believe anything's changed when it comes to Rangers in the Champions League should look at Bursapsor draw no bet at 2-1 with Chandler while just to win they are a best 10-3 with Hills.

Rangers are 5-2 with Hills not to score and 23-20 to keep a clean sheet.

Hills are asking how many more of Rangers' group games finish 0-0 and offer none 8-15, one 9-4, two 13-2, three 20-1, four 100-1 and five 500-1.

Rangers are 33-1 with Hill not to lose a group game and 15-8 to score between four and six goals which seems likely.

Man United and Valencia remain favourites to progress from Group C and their encounter in Spain could finish all square. United are without Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs and will be looking to keep it tight after conceding some sloppy goals so far this season. Alex Ferguson's men are a best 15-8 with Chandler with Valencia 7-4 at Coral and the draw 12-5 with Ladbrokes. My colleague Paul Watson has a better knowledge than me of Spanish football and he's siding with Valencia. I may go with Valencia draw no bet at 5-6 with Ladbrokes.

Spurs can claim their first Champions League win by beating Twente at home. The Dutch showed they are a decent side by holding Inter to a 2-2 draw but they aren't so strong on their travels and there should be tremendous backing for Spurs on their home group debut. Back them at 4-5 with Chandler.

In the early kick-off look at Barcelona (8-13, Hills) to edge out Rubin Kazan away while Panathinaikos, always so strong at home, could be best bets of the night at 10-11 with Hills and Paddy Power to beat Copenhagen in Athens.
