MAN UNITED stank the place out in their last Champions League outing against Valencia and Jose Mourinho looked on his way out.

That 0-0 draw was a shocker but United rallied to come back from 2-0 down to beat Newcastle and were seconds from winning at Chelsea on Saturday.

Things aren't perfect but they're better ahead of tonight's visit from Juventus who arrive at Old Trafford with Cristiano Ronaldo in two after netting his 400th league goal at the weekend in a 1-1 draw with Genoa.

It was the first dropped points of the season for the Italian champions but boss Max Allegri rested Giorgio Chiellini and Paulo Dybala and insisted his side had one eye on Man United.

The Red Devils have lost just once in their last six meetings with Juve but are underdogs here with Unibet going a biggest 24-11. That will attract some but I can't see how a side that conceded two against a terrible Newcastle team can keep out Juve.

The Italians, a best 8-5 with Betway, should avoid defeat and are 8-15 with Ladbrokes +1.

Ronaldo will be keen to net on his return and is 13-8 at Betway to score while Dybala is an option at 21-10 with bet365.

In the other group game Valencia travel to Young Boys with high hopes of picking up a result.

The Swiss have lost both of their League games this season without scoring and have conceded five goals to Luzern and Zurich in their last two outings. Valencia will try to keep it tight and nick a goal and they are 28-25 at Marathonbet.

Man City head to Shakhtar Donetsk where they lost 2-1 last season although it was a dead rubber – in fact the home men have never lost to an English in Ukraine in seven meetings.

They are unbeaten in 11 in all competitions and City could face a real test after losing at home to Lyon on matchday one.

However, Pep Guardiola will take heart from the fact Shakhtar have drawn their first two games 2-2 and goals look the play here. Take both to score and over 2.5 match goals at 10-11 with Coral.

There should also be goals when Hoffenheim entertain group leaders Lyon with both scoring paying a best 4-9 at Ladbrokes and William Hill.
