It's take two for Newcastle and Everton tonight – and the Magpies will be out for revenge after their dismal EFL Cup loss on Merseyside last week.

The Toffees eased to a 3-1 win in last Thursday's cup tie at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and it was Newcastle's fourth defeat in six games.

The early promise of Matthias Jaissle's first few weeks at St James' Park has faded and the German desperately needs a win to give the Toon Army a bit of hope.

Newcastle United vs Everton top betting tips

Newcastle's form may be poor but they've still lost just once at St James' Park all season, a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in their last home match.

That will give Jaissle some hope of getting their season back on track but Everton have lost just twice all season – with those defeats coming to champions Arsenal and Chelsea.

I've feeling this will be closer than last week's match and the half-time draw looks worth a punt at 13/10 with Bet365.

We saw 14 corners in that cup tie and 10 of them went the way of the Magpies. Combining over 10.5 match corners for this one with over 5.5 Newcastle flag kicks pays 27/20.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Osasuna

Deportivo La Coruna have been plummeting down the La Liga table after a promising start and need a win at home to Osasuna tonight to get back on track.

The bounce from winning promotion saw Deportivo go five matches without defeat on their return to Spain's top flight.

They've since taken just three points from their last six games, a run that has seen them drop to 13th, with only goal difference keeping them above tonight's visitors.

Osasuna have also flopped after a decent start, winning just one of their last seven in La Liga, so it's a tricky one to call.

Three of Deportivo's home games this term have ended in 1-1 scorelines so the draw could be a good shout tonight at 9/4 with Bet365.

Veteran Osasuna stopper Alejandro Catena has been booked in two of his last three outings and is 9/4 to fall foul of the officials again.

Atalanta vs Parma

Parma have the chance to move out of the Serie A drop zone tonight but the bookies don't fancy their chances away to Atalanta.

Bet365 make Parma 5/1 outsiders tonight and it's probably because they've won just one of their nine matches so far in Italy's top flight.

Atalanta's start hasn't been stellar either, with just three wins so far, and they're on a run of four games without a win.

So I'm not sure if I'd have them as short as 1/2 tonight, although Maurizio Sarri's men have certainly been scoring for fun.

Their last two games have been 4-4 and 2-2 thrillers with Frosinone and Fiorentina so it bodes well for a decent watch tonight.

Combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals for this one pays evens at Bet365 while Atalanta's Nikola Kristovic is 21/20 to add to his six-goal tally this term.
