Liverpool will look to maintain their 100% start to the league phase of the Champions League on Wednesday night as they travel to the Turkish capital to take on Fenerbahce.
Liverpool have made the perfect start to the league phase, with the Reds winning each of their opening three matches.
Wins over Atletico Madrid and LASK were followed by a 4-3 success over Villarreal despite trailing the Spaniards 0-2 inside the opening half hour.
However, Andoni Iraola failed to see his side record a third consecutive win in the Premier League at the weekend, as they were beaten at home to reigning champions Arsenal – meaning they remain in fifth position, nine points behind the Gunners.
Fenerbahce failed to claim their first league phase victory last time out, as they threw away a two-goal lead to draw at home to reigning Czech champions Slavia Prague.
The Yellow Canaries have since lost back-to-back games 1-2 in the Turkish Super Lig, firstly away at rivals Galatasaray, before losing at home to Goztepe – with ex-Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt put in interim charge for the latter.
Similarly to their visitors, that defeat at the weekend sees Fenerbahce languishing in sixth position domestically, nine points behind leaders Galatasaray.
How the bookies view it: Liverpool favourites
Liverpool are favourites to maintain their 100% record in the Champions League this season, with bet365 pricing an away win at 8/15.
Fenerbahce are 17/4 underdogs to claim their first win in the league phase this term, whilst the draw is 15/4.
Head to head: First-ever meeting
Perhaps a little surprisingly, Wednesday’s clash in the Turkish capital will be the first-ever meeting between these two clubs.
Players to watch: Isak to break his European duck?
Alexander Isak is Liverpool’s top scorer this season, firing in six goals across his opening 12 appearances.
However, all six of those have come in the Premier League, with the Swedish international priced at 20/21 at bet365 to grab his first goal in Europe this season.

Predicted line-ups:
Fenerbahce will be without the injured Nathan Ake, Marco Asencio, Jayden Oosterwolde and Amara Diouf.
Liverpool are still missing the injured Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Giovanni Leoni.
Fenerbahce: Ederson, Semedo, Skriniar, Oppong, Brown, Kante, Guendouzi, Aydin, Greenwood, Akturkoglu, Muriqi
Liverpool: Alisson, Araujo, Jacquet, Van Dijk, Tsimikas, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Gakpo, Barcola, Isak
Anything else catch the eye?
Despite their inconsistency domestically, Liverpool have been faultless in the Champions League this term, with Andoni Iraola winning at home to Spanish duo Atletico Madrid and Villarreal, as well as away at LASK.
Fenerbahce have drawn both of their league phase matches at home to Roma and Slavia Parage, but were thrashed 6-0 away to Aston Villa on MD2, and you’d expect the Reds to be too strong for their out-of-form hosts.
All three of Liverpool’s victories in Europe have gone Over 2.5 Goals, which pays 10/11 at bet365, with Both Teams to Score also paying out in all three and a repeat of that pays a juicier 17/10.
