MK DONS v PETERBORO BETTING TIPS

INTERNATIONAL weekend has forced TV crews to slum it down in League One tonight.

But fans tuning in the game could be treated to a thrilling contest.

MK Dons v Peterborough doesn't have the same ring as Chelsea v Man Utd or Celtic v Rangers – but it could be just as enthralling.

Peterborough are as entertaining as Spurs, as dodgy at the back as Blackpool (or were until recent weeks) while MK Dons also love to pile forward.

Between them the sides' matches have featured 249 goals this season – and there should be plenty more tonight.

Third-placed Peterborough have shored up their defence with four clean sheets in five games while hitting 19 at the other end.

But those games weren't against any of the top sides and sixth-placed MK Dons should give Darren Ferguson's men a stiffer test.

Their home record is good and although I expect them to score I fancy on-fire Peterborough to pick up the points and continue their challenge for auotmatic promotion.

They are a biggest 9-5 with bet365 while MK Dons are 6-4 at Paddy Power, bodog and Ladbrokes among others.

Both teams to score pays 4-7 at Chandler and I need it to bring up my fourfold. Spurs v West Ham let me down for five but my SFL treble came up.

Back to tonight and over 2.5 goals pays 21-20 with Ladbrokes. I can see value in over 3.75 at 15-8 with bet365 and may even consider over four at 5-2 with the same firm.

With so many hitmen on show it's not easy to pick a first scorer but the man they have to beat is certainly Peterborough's Craig Mackail-Smith who is 5-1 with William Hill and Skybet.
