ATLETICO MADRID are out for revenge tonight after losing the Champions League Final to fierce rivals Real two years ago.
There's no doubt Atletico are poor relations in Spain to their city foes and Barcelona so to see them in another final is remarkable.
Last time Real blew them away in extra time and it won't surprise many if we see another 30 minutes of action in Milan tonight.
That defeat in Lisbon was a travesty as Atletico led for nearly an hour before conceding a 93rd-minute equaliser to Sergio Ramos. The underdogs were crushed and faded badly in extra time to concede another three times.
Real are 8-5 with McBookie and bet365 to win in 90 minutes and 3-4 at boylesports to lift the trophy.
I understand why Zinedine Zidane's men are favourites but they've beaten Atletico just once in 12 meetings over 90 minutes. So either the draw – which is 85-40 at McBookie – should be shorter or both sides around 6-4 to win in 90 minutes.
For me the value lies with Atletico – especially if Cristiano Ronaldo isn't fit – but I'm on them to lift the trophy at 6-5 with Coral rather than 8-5 at Betfred to win in normal time.
Real scraped into the Final with edgy wins against Wolfsburg and Manchester City while Atletico knocked out Barca and Bayern Munich so Diego Simeone's side will show no fear.
The man their hopes will rely on is France striker Antoine Griezmann. He netted against Barca and Bayern and is 21-10 at McBookie to score at the San Siro and 11-2 at Ladbrokes and William Hill to net first.
Real's attacking trio of Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema need to score twice to hit the century mark for goals this season for the first time.
The previous combined best for the trio, known as the BBC, was 97 in the 2014-15 campaign. For a sixth consecutive year Ronaldo netted more than 50 times in all competitions.
Frenchman Benzema finished second to Ronaldo scoring 28 – 24 in La Liga and four Champions League strikes – while Bale hit 19, all La Liga.
Ronaldo is 6-5 at Betfred to net with Benzema 21-10 at McBookie and Bale 5-2 with the Scots firm.
The last four Madrid derbies have produced just four goals which is why unders 2.5 at 4-7 with Ladbrokes and William Hill is the favourite.
Atletico have kept 15 clean sheets in their last 21 Champions League games and Real have kept out the opposition 10 times in their 12 CL outings including five of six in the knockout stage. However, both teams have netted in the last five Champions League and that pays 11-10 at betfair.
The ref is England's Mark Clattenburg and it's 9-4 he shows the third red in Champions League Final history in normal time and plenty of bookings are expected.

Agree with you Mr. Fix it. I fancy atletico to win. Will rather lump on the 11/10 to win the trophy than the 7/4 inside 90 minutes @ William hill as I reckon we could be looking at extra time or penalties.

Ronaldo has scored in just 2 of his last 10 appearances v Atletico
Griezmann has scored in just 2 of 8 Atletico v Real games
    As Mr F says
Real have kept Clean Sheets in 10 of their 12 Champions League games
Atletico have kept Clean Sheets in 8 of 12.
Godin to be shown a card 6/4 looks a decent price GL.

How about pre match real Madrid to loft trophy at 4/6 £50 returns £83

In play Athletico to lift the trophy at 6/5 £50 returns £110

So £33 profit if RM lift it
