I'VE tipped two out of two play-off finals but the odds are stacked against me making it three in a row.

I successfully predicted Swansea v Reading and Huddersfield v Peterborough but went for Shrewsbury v Accrington.

And the odds are stacked against my sides making the Old Trafford final after 2-0 first-leg away defeats.

Both have good home records but it's asking a lot for any side to beat one of a similar standard by three clear goals to qualify.

Shrewsbury are 4-1 with Paddy Power to knock out Torquay and 11-10 with Betfred to win on the night which they should manage.

Torquay are no bigger than 1-4 with Chandler to qualify and are 11-4 to win in 90 minutes.

Accrington have slightly better chance of overturning the deficit against Stevenage. Stanley won 10 of their last 11 at home as they made a dramatic charge into the play-offs and are 15-4 at Stan James to qualify.

To win on the night you can have 6-5 at Chandler and the same firm make Stanley 6-5 to score at least two goals.

A 2-0 or 3-1 win would force extra time and I think that's Stanley's best hope. 888sport go 11-2 for an extra 30 minutes.

Stevenage are 1-5 with totesport and bet365 to qualify and 23-10 at totesport to win on the night.

Recommendations

Shrewsbury to win

(11-10, Betfred)

Accrington to qualify

(15-4, Stan James)

Accrington to score two or more

(6-5, bet365)
