Hibs v Hearts, Hampden, 3pm, live BBC 1 Scotland and Sky
HIBS have waited 110 years to lift the Scottish Cup and they could be waiting a bit longer.
They face Hearts in the first all-capital final since 1896 and the Easter Road men are massive underdogs at Hampden.
And although anything can happen in a final or a derby I'm on the Jambos at a best 4-7 (various) while they are 5-4 at Paddy Power to win in 90 minutes.
Hibs are 7-5 (William Hill) to pick up the trophy and 13-5 at BetVictor to do the business in 90 minutes. The draw pays 12-5 BetVictor and Ladbrokes.
Hearts have had the measure of their city rivals in recent seasons and there's no reason why that will change just because it's a final. The maroon side of Edinburgh are unbeaten in 10 derbies, seven of them wins, and this season have won the three SPL meetings by two goals.
Forget about the Jambos' 5-0 hammering at Celtic last week. They played half a team and the result was predictable.
This is the big one and in players such as Rudi Skacel, Craig Beattie and David Templeton the Tynecastle men have players who can make a real difference.
Hearts have enjoyed much the better of seasons with Hibs in a relegation dogfight until they beat Dunfermline in the second last game of the season.
So current form and recent head-to-heads suggest a Hearts victory and as a tipster I have to go with that rather than omens.
You've got to fancy Beattie for the opening goal if he starts. The ex-Celtic striker hit the penalty winner in the semi-final against Celtic at Hampden and is 13-2 with William Hill to break the deadlock, 12-5 with sportingbet at any time. It could be Skacel's last game for the club and what better way than to sign off with a goal.
Skacel has enjoyed another superb season with 16 strikes and is 7-1 at Ladbrokes to score first and 12-5 with sportingbet at any time.
Hibs have players who can trouble defences but Garry O'Connor and Leigh Griffiths have failed to produce the goods on a consistent basis.
If I was to pick one to score it would be O'Connor with his aerial threat and power and he is 8-1 at Ladbrokes to hit the first and 14-5 (sportingbet) at any time. Griffiths is 8-1 (William Hill) and 3-1 (sportingbet) respectively.
There has been much fingernail biting in Edinburgh all week but can you imagine the tension if it goes to penalties. BetVictor offer 11-1 both to win via a shoot-out while to triumph after extra time the sponsors go Hibs 14-1, Hearts 10-1.
It's sure be a frenetic start but that could produce cards rather than goals. A red card in the match is 2-1 with Hills, 4-11 for none.
And in his final match for the Jambos tough-tackling Ian Black is 6-1 with Hills to be sent off. Andy Webster, O'Connor and Griffiths are all 8-1 second favourites.
Both teams won their semi-final 2-1 and both teams to score pays 1-1 with Hills.
