HUDDERSFIELD let slip a first-leg lead in their play-off semi-final with Bournemouth but should put the tie to bed on Wednesday.

Lee Clark's side extended their unbeaten record to 26 games but seemed to tire in the second half and were lucky to escape with a draw after dominating for the first hour.

That's a slight concern but urged on by a passionate home support the Terriers can make it through to the Old Trafford final.

Huddersfield haven't lost to the Cherries in 18 meetings going back to 1993 although all three meetings this season have been score draws.

They are 4-5 with 888sport and Blue Square to win in 90 minutes and 1-3 at Coral to qualify. Bournemouth are 5-2 with Chandler to get there.

It could be a cracking contest and both teams to score pays 10-11 at William Hill.

Top scorer Jordan Rhodes looked a little out of sorts in the first leg but as Shane Long did for the Reading side I tipped to beat Cardiff, he can bounce back to form. Rhodes is 4-1 with the likes of Ladbrokes and William Hill to hit the opener.

In the SFL play-offs I'm on Ayr to carve out a first-leg lead against Brechin at Somerset in the battle to reach the First Division.

Ayr were pretty impressive in scoring seven goals to see off Forfar in the semis and are a best 5-4
with bet365 and 888sport. Brechin are 5-2 with totesport and McBookie.com with the draw 5-2 at McBookie.com.

To qualify for the Final both are 5-6 with Chandler. There should be plenty of goals so don't miss out on both teams to score at 5-7 with McBookie.com.

Ayr have spreading the goals around but you can have 4-1 with McBookie.com top scorer Mark Roberts breaking the deadlock while Brechin dangerman Rory McAllister is 5-1.

Albion Rovers are quite rightly favourites to win the Second Division play-off and 5-4 with the likes of Paddy Power and William Hill to edge their first leg at home to Annan. The visitors are 11-5 at William Hill.

Again I'd consider both teams to score at 5-6 with Chandler while John Gemmell is 9-2 favourite with McBookie.com to score first for the home men.
