BIG Games can always go either way and that's the nature of football betting. St Johnstone v Dundee Utd, Barcelona v Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund – none are matches where I'd play for high stakes.

The only major event I feel confident about today is Arsenal v Hull but of course we remember what happened to Wigan in last season's FA Cup Final.

As you know my Super Single today is Atletico Madrid not to lose at 1-1 and that's a result that will give them the Spanish title at the expense of Barca. Atletico deserve to land the big prize but won't be handed it and hopefully we get a cracking contest at the Nou Camp.

The sides have have met five times this season with four draws and a win for Atletico. Barca may have to dispense with their patient build-up if they can but with Diego Costa fit to start I'm on a full-strength Atletico to get the result.

Barcelona could be without an entire defensive unit with keeper Victor Valdes and doubts over several others. Tata Martino's side will have all the possession but that's the way Atletico like it as they hit on the counter.

All five encounters have finished this season have finished with under 2.5 goals as have 10 of Atletico's last 11 La Liga games but of course the size of the occasion and an early goal can always make those stats meaningless.

Germany's top two teams in Germany meet in the cup final a few weeks after Borussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich 4-2 in the Supercup. It's the fourth meeting this season and Dortmund have the edge with two wins to one so it's as easy a call as the odds suggest with Bayern a best 11-10 at Coral to win in 90 minutes.

Bayern won the Bundesliga at a canter but the 5-0 rout by Real Madrid in the Champions League was a sore one and they may not have fully recovered.

Dortmund have won seven of their last eight games in all competitions and have finishes the season well. Picking a winner is not easy so for me best bet is both teams to score at 8-11 (various).

I've already tipped Udinese to beat Sampdoria and St Etienne at a short price to see off Ajaccio and if I get a chance later I'll put up some more tips on the French games that kick off at 8pm.

Elsewhere, Robin van Persie will captain Holland in their World Cup warm-up match against Ecuador as coach Louis van Gaal insists he needs game time after a long injury layoff. If that's confirmed he could be worth a look to score first so check teams.

Absolutely Mr. F, the underdogs are lucrative tonight. I have full faith in my Atleti as well as St. Johnston and Germany’s very own passionate gathering that is Dortmund. Not a doubt on mind.
