ALL the focus is on the fight to avoid second bottom in the Scottish Premiership.
McBookie are offering 25-1 on Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Ross County all losing this weekend to set up a final-day scenario that could see Killie and County drawing to guarantee their safety.
Spokesman Paul Petrie said: “Sporting integrity has been the buzzword around Scottish football for the last few years and if all three teams lose it will be the hot topic of conversation again. The good news is we fully expect one of the teams to pick something up on Saturday.”
I agree and in fact all three could collect against sides with nothing to play for. County were shocked at home to St Mirren last week but by all accounts played well and missed chances so consider them at 1-1 at Betfred to beat Hamilton.
St Mirren have been better since they were doomed but Well humbled them 5-0 just a month ago and should win in Paisley. They are 11-10 at Betfred.
On the face of it Killie face the toughest test at Partick Thistle after seven successive defeats. It's getting to the critical stage for Gary Locke's men and I'm taking a huge gamble on them not to lose at 21-20 with bet365. They are 7-2 with bet365 to win.
Dundee are another side on a rotten run and after five defeats in a row they could get something from an Aberdeen side who are reported to being set to rest four or five players. Not to lose Dundee are 6-5 with bet365.
Inverness may ease off after sealing a Euro spot and with a Scottish Cup Final to come (not until May 30) but I still fancy John Hughes's men to beat Dundee Utd at home for the third time this season if they're at full strength. ICT are 1-1 at William Hill and Ladbrokes and Hughes says he'll field a strong side but it's worth checking line-ups before having a bet.
Meanwhile, here is William Hill's Owen Scott with his SPFL stats – remember they are not tips.
