IT'S D-Day for Newcastle and Norwich and there's nothing they can do to stop Sunderland sealing their Premier League fate.

Sunderland need to beat Everton at send down their biggest rivals as well as Norwich.

Sam Allardyce's men have looked the best of the troubled trio in recent weeks and are the only ones who have a genuine goalscorer in their ranks in the shape of Jermain Defoe.

Everton were dire on Sunday and their 3-1 defeat at champions Leicester could have been 7-1. It's all over for Roberto Martinez and I can't see his side getting a result against a side with so much to play for.

Unfortunately bookies are giving nothing away and Sunderland are a biggest 3-4 with McBookie after opening at 7-5.

I'd have backed them at the bigger price but I'm not tempt by odds on so consider Defoe to net at 11-8 with Paddy Power – some firms have him odds on.

Everton conceded four at Anfield and three at the King Power so they could let in 3+ with their star men looking as if they're already on the beach. It's a big call and one that pays 12-5 at McBookie.

Norwich will have more than eye on the happenings at the Stadium of Light and Alex Neil will be telling his men they must beat Watford in case of a Sunderland slip-up.

Watford are safe with nothing to play for so I expect the Canaries to win but 5-6 – come one! I can't back Norwich at odds on so go for both to score at a bigger price of 10-11 with William Hill.

The other Premier League game sees Liverpool at home to Chelsea. Jurgen Klopp is focused on the Europa League final and I expect him to field a weakened side so I'd be interested in the Blues at 14-5 with bet365. Keep an eye out for line-ups before considering it though.

There's only place money at stake in Scotland and St Johnstone are finishing as well as anyone as they hunt down fourth place and £200,000 more than if they come in sixth. For the big English teams that's a night out but in Scotland it could be a new player.

Saints are 6-1 to beat champions Celtic and could be worth a look at 9-2 with bet365 draw no bet.

Dundee could be a good shout at 23-20 with Betfred as Killie should now be focusing on their relegation play-off.

The one game in Scotland that means anything tonight is Stranraer v Ayr. Both were involved in high-scoring semi-finals and three of the four meetings this season have seen both to score so back that again at 4-6 with bet365.
