THERE are three La Liga games tonight and Malaga look good bets bets at home to Rayo Vallecano (9pm).
Malaga dented Real Madrid's title charge with a weekend draw in the Bernabeu and should see off a Rayo side whose away form is a concern.
They lost 5-1 at Espanyol on their last trip but bounced back to beat Real Betis 3-0 at home at the weekend.
Malaga are unbeaten in four and haven't lost at home to Rayo in their four previous meetings to take them at 8-11 with Blue Square.
Real Betis have now lost three in a row and conceded three goals each time. If they don't improve soon they'll be involved in a relegation battle and tonight's visit of Espanyol (7pm) gives them another tough test.
Espanyol backed up a 5-1 win over Rayo Vallecano with a 3-1 win against Racing after five games without a win, including a 5-0 hummmering by Real Madrid.
They are back in contention for a Champions League place but will be without striker Sergio Garcia who picked up a hamstring injury against Racing.
Espanyol look decent value at 31-10 with BetVictor but taking them plus one goal on the handicaps is a safer bet. They are 5-6 at Coral.
Racing Santander haven't won in six and face a Sevilla (7pm) side also struggling after back-to-back defeats to Barcelona and Sporting Gijon.
Sevilla are down in 12th and star man Jose Antonio Reyes was booed when he was subbed against Barca. However, a trip to third bottom Racing gives them the perfect chance to get back on track against a side missing injured keeper Tono and Sevilla loan stars Bernardo and Lautaro Acosta.
You can have 13-10 with William Hill on a Sevilla and it's the most likely outcome although not a great price. Sevilla draw no bet pays 8-13 at Coral.
Recommendations
Malaga
(8-11, Blue Square)
Espanyol +1
(5-6, Coral)
Sevilla draw no bet
(8-13, Coral)
Paul would you recommend any goalscorers for any of tonight’s games?
Chris, here we go guy again. The team I fancy most tonight is Malaga and the man most likely for them is Rondon. But you can’t rule out Carloza who netted the last-minute free-kick that earned them a draw at Real Madrid at the weekend. I also see Santos are playing late tonight in the South American Cup and are very short at home. Neymar might be worth a look here for first scorer especially if you can get that refund if he nets second.
My thoughts exactly Paul! Espanyol are such good value that +1, draw no bet still offer value with the safety net. Going with that and Malaga double. Just to point out Malaga can be very hit and miss. I watch them every week but I suppose that’s the case for every La Liga side bar the big 2 and Valencia whom I often liken to Andy Murray. Nowhere near the top but streets ahead of the rest. Anyway Malaga are 1 centre back and 2 strikers short of being a very good side. The midfield of Toulalan, Isco and Cazorla offers steel and creativity. Although goals don’t seen to be a problem from the outside, it’s frightening just how many chances they miss each game.
Marc, don’t really trust any side these sides but Malaga and Espanyol +1 should come up. I read that Toulalan is injured though.

Steven, I’m slightly wary of the cup-ties after Bayern failed to turn up last night. Worth checking out team news before putting them on.
ragin i took bayern, knew they were dodgy away and didnt realise borussia were 3rd in league, had city, hearts n ipswich proper gutter
Steven, Bayern’s current form merited inclusion but cup games are sometimes difficult to predict.
Paul, yep that’s my double for tonight. Toulalan unfortunately is out as I mentioned at the weekend, was talking generally in the above post. Sorry for the confusion but our best player is definitely out.
Chris, Paul is spot on with his Malaga scorers. Cazorla takes a great free kick. I was over earlier this year for the 4 0 win over Granada and got his free kick goal recorded on my phone! The fact the team are so reliant on his set pieces says enough about the strikers. Basically Malaga miss Julio Baptista enormously! Usually play a 4 5 1 with Rondon spearheading due to his pace and strength. However I would strongly advise against your usual 100 on him as he is very raw and unpredictable. He is like a better, stronger Kenny Miller in that he is much better when having littke time to think and left to run the channels. My personal favourite striker when 2 are deployed is Seba Fernandez, the Uruaguay international who links up play well and scores crucial goals but he is often benched in favour of Rondon due to formation. And RVN can’t play with Rondon and he’s way down the pecking order anyway.
Malaga have no clear out and out goalscorer so the short prices for the strikers are not really worth it. Goals are spread thinly throughout the side so speculative punts on Weligton at the back and Eliseu wide left are good value as they all chip in. One player who is certainly on a new lease of life at Malaga is Joaquin who is very dangerous like he used to be.
Marc, Espanyol left that late for us.
Paul no prices for first goalscorer available on the santos game unfortunately but Rondon is 7/1 with bwin and 4/1 elsewhere so decent price. Think I’ll do £50 first and last.
First or last for a guaranteed minimu
Profit of £300 if he scores first or last
If he’s 7-1 you’ll get at least 2-1 Rondon on anytime scorer. Will let you know if I come across Santos first scorers.
Ive gone 20 on Malaga and bts in betis and santander treble so fingers crossed!
I have gone for a treble of:
Malaga
Braga and
Over 2.5 goals in Betis-Espanyol game
What’s your thoughts? Any chance?
You must have a chance with that.
got that in betvictor account today paul, cheers
goin with copperwood single again tonight plus lady macduff and and courtesy call, all mj’s with joe fanning chasing champ jockey.
4fold malaga, whitlock, lewis and taylor and
lewis taylor wins, whitlock highest average goin southampton and sunderland at wknd.
sund @evs at home to qpr decent price
espanyol last min goal to keep the 4 fold alive :)
yeah paul when u consider the amount they had been scoring u fancied them 2 at least nick it by 1, not too be tho.
Steven, I tipped Espanyol +1 so I had the draw on my side. Odds weren’t too bad.
They sure did Paul. Malaga at their usual inconsistent ways again!
Rondon last goal so far. I hope malaga wins for all the punters especially if Rondon scores the last goal. If not I’m quite happy for 1-1 as he has scored last although I would like them to win too so other people win.
Rondon has made it 2 1. Anyone watching it?
3 1 Maresca who’s only been on the field 30 secs!
anyone know who had the highest average between whitlock and hamilton at the darts???
thought it was hamilton but my acca still live on betvictor site and cant find it anywhere on net
3 2. Wily stupidly gives away another pen
4 2 Duda who just replaced Cazorla scores a screamer! He’s one of the whipping boys too! Didn’t think he was capable. This is some game!
Marc, cracking game as you said. In the end I’m happy because my three tips on the three Spanish games came up. Pity about Chris’s Rondon bet went down but I did advise an anytime scorer bet. Also I stayed clear of AZ and Braga who were both shocked after extra time.
