Leagues Tipped:

Wednesday, St Mirren Park, 7.45pm, live on Sky Sports 2

HEARTS players haven't been paid again – but the thorny issue doesn't seem to affect performances.

They simply get on with it as they did in beating Hibs 2-0 in the Edinburgh derby at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Saints were going down to a terrible 3-0 home defeat to Johnstone.

Danny Lennon's side haven't won in the SPL since beating out Rangers on Christmas Eve and you've got to fancy Hearts at 17-10 with BetVictor.

St Mirren are only slightly bigger at 9-5 with Coral while the draw, that would force extra time, is 9-4 with firms such as Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.

Lennon was beaten by Hearts to the signature of Craig Beatte and the ex-Celt is 13-2 at bet365 to bag the opener and 9-4 to net at any time.

The 28-year-old struck in the first match between the two and opened the scoring in Sunday’s derby clash with Hibs.

The sides have already met four times this season with Hearts winning two and drawing two and they look the value to edge through here against the SPL's lowest scorers.

Hopefully your right big man I have £100 on Beattie anytime, £40 first and £20 last. Hopefully we get a wee winner cos at this crate I’m going to run out of cash before the old firm game. Just to let you know Paul I put £100 on messi yesterday first goal with boylesports. He didn’t score first but I got my bet refunded as he scored second. My £100 has been put on ronaldo now for real Madrid at 11/5 as the same money back special applies

Paul are you sure on that 9/2 for Beattie? Checked again this morning and it’s 6/1 first/last and 21/10 anytime. 9/2 anytime seems far too big??

Marc, Chris is right about 9-4, must have hit the wrong key.

Think Paul meant 9/4 Marc cos that’s the price I got him plus he was 13/2 first goal which is a great price for a striker

Cheers Chris thought as much. Gone for Hearts to qualify at 4/5. Spoke to my mate at st mirren this morning and he tells me they are well up for it tonight and feels their extra recovery day could be important especially with hearts contesting a derby. Originally planned hearts straight win but ive decided to only partially take his advice and sinply play it slightly safer with my first thought.

4/5 is also a good price
