IT'S all about the Cheltenham Gold Cup today – but after the dust has settled on four days of manic racing attention will turn to Friday night football.

Motherwell v Hibs is the only league game in Britain – and what price a Leigh Griffiths goal after he – and some punters – were robbed in the derby with Hearts last weekend.

On the continent the big games are Wolfsburg v Fortuna and Marseille v Ajaccio and both teams to score followers will no doubt be focusing on the popular Dutch Eerste Divisie matches. Also take a look at French Ligue 2 where there were goals galore last week.

So let's start at Fir Park and it's a tough call between two closely-matched rivals who have one apiece in meetings this season – with both going over 3.5 goals.

And it could do so again if respective top scorers Michael Higdon and Leigh Griffiths bring their shooting boots. Over 2.5 goals is 19-20 at BetVictor and bet365.

Higdon and Griffiths both have 19 goals this season and Higdon is 11-2 at BetVictor and Coral while Griffiths is a tad bigger at 13-2 with bet365, BetVictor and Coral.

Both could net but I had to pick one it would be Griffiths who is harbouring a sense of injustice after his free-kick “goal” wasn't seen against Hearts. He is 7-4 with Coral to hit the target while Higdon is 17-10 at BetVictor.

And don't forget the claims of comeback king James McFadden who is 7-1 at BetVictor as he continues his fight back to the big time.

To win Well are 1-1 faves with the likes of Ladbrokes and bet365 while Hibs are as big as 3-1 with Paddy Power and Coral. That's tempting in a game between teams of a similar standard and Hibs have lost just one of their last eight away matches.

However, I'm looking at a draw (5-2, Paddy Power) while draw or Hibs is 5-6 at unibet.

Wolfsburg have won fewer games at home than anyone but sides in the Bundesliga drop zone. It's a surprise stat for such a well-supported side and on the road they have won six to just two in front of their own support.

However, a 5-2 thrashing of Freiburg away last week should have lifted confidence and they face a Fortuna Dusseldorf side they hammered 4-1 earlier in the season.

Fortuna have won just two on the road so Wolfsburg look decent value at 17-20 at TitanBet.

In France I'm not keen to get involved with Marseille at no bigger than 1-2 at home to Ajaccio while Deportivo v Celta in La Liga looks a draw between two strugglers.

Both teams to score fans will target the Dutch second tier and check out the stats sent by UHT as a comment. I'd already picked out three and I agree with them about Sparta v Maastricht and Cambuur v Helmond. But his fifth choice, De Graafschap v Emmen, is my third pick.

To this treble add Motherwell v Hibs which has averaged exactly five goals a game in the last eight meetings. That included a remarkable 6-6 draw at Fir Park three seasons ago – more of the same please.

Recommendations

Motherwell v Hibs over 2.5 goals
(19-20, BetVictor, bet365)

Griffiths to score
(7-4, Coral)

Wolfsburg (7.30pm)
(17-20, TitanBet)

Both teams to score

Sparta v Maastricht (7pm)

Cambuur v Helmond (7pm)

De Graafschap v Emmen (7pm)

Motherwell v Hibs (7.45pm)

Just finished putting some stats together on tonight’s Jupiler League games as it happens…
Thanks for your kind words about the stats last week, incidentally, Mr F, it’s just a shame they didn’t deliver the results we all would have hoped for. However, that was an unusually poor night all-round for BTTS in the division, and I think we could all do a lot better tonight.
So, here’s some food for thought on BTTS and there’s something here, too, for anyone interested in the related Overs market.
The figures show the home form and away form of each of the teams in each match, expressed as average goals scored / conceded in home or away games over the season so far.
I’ve also totalled the average scored / conceded goals for the two teams in each match and then halved it for an average goals per game for the two teams for pointers in goal markets.
    Odds are from William Hill.
There are 17 teams in the league, number in brackets shows current league position.
    Friday 15th March
    (1) Sparta Rotterdam 2.83 / 1.33 V (4) MVV Maastricht 1.77 / 1.18
    H 4.16 A 2.95 AVG 3.56
    BTTS 4/9 OVER 2.5 4/9
    (5) De Graafschap 2.15 / 1.69 V (13) FC Emmen 1.36 / 1.58
    H 3.84 A 2.94 AVG 3.39
    BTTS 4/9 OVER 2.5 2/5
    (6) SC Cambuur-Leeuwarden 2.08 / 1.42 V (3) Helmond Sport 1.92 / 1.75
    H 3.50 A 3.67 AVG 3.59
    BTTS 1/2 OVER 2.5 8/15
    (9) Fortuna Sittard 1.30 / 0.90 V (8) FC Den Bosch 1.15 / 1.64
    H 2.20 A 2.79 AVG 2.50
    BTTS 6/10 OVER 2.5 7/10
    (10) SC Veendam 1.42 / 1.83 V (12) FC Oss 1.38 / 2.18
    H 3.25 A 3.56 AVG 3.41
    BTTS 1/2 OVER 2.5 1/2
    (15) Almere City FC 1.08 / 1.83 V (14) Telstar 1.08 / 1.75
    H 2.91 A 2.83 AVG 2.87
    BTTS 8/15 OVER 2.5 13/20
    (17) FC Eindhoven 1.55 / 2.09 V (11) FC Dordrecht 2.00 / 2.00
    H 3.64 A 4.00 AVG 3.82
    BTTS 4/11 OVER 2.5 2/5
I did make a mistake in calculating the overall league home/away goal averages last week – it was the first time I’d actually put the numbers into Excel, so, I took the averages of home goals scored and away goals scored only by those teams who were at home and away that week and that skewed the result to lead me to conclude that away teams scored more overall. Apologies for that.
The actual average home goals and away goals per game so far this season is
Home 1.74 Away 1.54 Average Total Goals Per Game 3.28
So, for BTTS, the matches featuring sides who beat the home and away 1.74 and 1.54 scoring averages hands-down are:
    Sparta v Maastricht 2.83 v 1.77
    Cambuur v Helmond 2.08 v 1.92
That would be my BTTS double. (4/9 & 1/2) Pays 2.16
For a treble you’re struggling to find an away team with much punch. So, the third BTTS pick is Eindhoven v Dordrecht (4/11), based on Dordrecht’s ability to score and their terrible defensive record, coupled with Eindhoven not being too far off the average in scoring at home. Eindhoven are bottom of the league, but have played fewer at home than the others. Plus they lost 3-0 at home last week, so, we must be due a goal from them. Just the one will do.
    Treble pays 2.95
Veendam v Oss (1/2) would make up a solid fourfold based on each team’s reasonable ability to score, but, more importantly, their shared excellence in bad defending.
    Fourfold pays 4.43
De Graafschap (4/9) have let me down twice, but they look to be a decent shout against Emmen for a fifth BTTS option.
    Those five pay 6.40
I’ll be playing it safer and going going for the first four.
In the Overs market, where the league average is 3.28, the stats say
    1. Eindhoven v Dordrecht 3.82 (2/5)
    2. Cambuur v Helmond 3.59 (8/15) Double pays 2.14
    3. Sparta v Maastricht 3.56 (4/9) Treble pays 3.10
    4. Veendam v Oss 3.41 (1/2) Fourfold pays 4.65
    5. De Graafschap v Emmen 3.39 (2/5) Fivefold pays 6.51
That’s what the stats say on paper. However, the Jupiler League is played on grass. Well… this is Holland with their cafes and liberal laws, and playing on grass might explain the defending.
    Good luck tonight, everybody!

The UHT, that’s a big help again. I’ll take a closer look in the morning. As I said I noticed a pile of goals in French Ligue 2 last week but that maybe bucked the trend.

  2. Paul 11 years ago

Excellent info on the Dutch Jupiler – thank you.

  3. The UHT 11 years ago

It’s funny – the French top league games are hopeless for BTTS, but further down, the teams seem a bit more ready to go for it, whereas the Bundesliga’s great for goals, but the lower German divisions seem to be contested by tight-fisted snakes.

The Championship in England is real Jeckyll and Hyde for it. Up to Christmas it was fantastic, but since new year, it’s impossible.

I hate going for “BTTS – No”, as it’s torture (not that waiting for that equaliser to pop in to complete your line’s much better) but that looks like the way to go at least in England…

  4. The UHT 11 years ago

Cheers, Paul – just hope i haven’t got egg on my face again this week. Last week the four picks went for were three of the four that failed to produce…!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The UHT, you’re putting up good reasoning, not much you can do if games go against the stats. The info’s good, let punters decide. Right, heading home to get set for a manic Friday.

  6. Chris Guy 11 years ago

For me its got to be Michael Higdon first goal for Motherwell against hibs. I may also back Griffiths to score anytime. Here area bets/tips for tomorrow.

    £100 Higdon First Goal @ 11/2 Coral
    £20 Higdon Last Goal @ 11/2 Coral
    £100 Griffiths anytime @ 7/4 Coral
£5 Ht Motherwell Ft Hibs @ 50/1 Betfair
£5 Ht Hibs Ft Motherwell @ 35/1 Betfair

What you mean Paul? You mean Griffiths is a good price to score first or anytime? I’m on Higdon first 11/2 is a great price, he is as short as 7/2 with Hills.

Also can’t help but notice Corals price of Demba Ba first goal for Chelsea on Sunday. He is 9/2. Next best price is 7/2 but most firms offering odds as short as 5/2!! Going to get on him before the price changes.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, what you’re reading was just a taster really. For me it’s Higdon or Griffiths but will go for one of them soon.

  7. Elliott 11 years ago

Chris, That Ba price is good as he’s likely to play having been rested/ineligible last night.

A few other First Goalscorers I like the look of at best prices…

    ENGLAND PREMIERSHIP

    Chelsea v West Ham

Lampard – 7.00 at Paddy Power/Coral (5.5 at others) or 2.75 Ladbrokes anytime looks against his old club West Ham. Likely to play as again like Ba rested midweek. Can see West Ham conceding set pieces for Lampard to take advantage of. Plus he’s still after that Chelsea record.

    Aston Villa v QPR

Obvious two..both in good form..maybe worth backing both

Benteke – 6.00 Ladbrokes and Coral.
Remy – 7.00 at most bookies

    Southampton v Liverpool

Suarez – 5.00 Paddy Power. Capable of scoring against a weak defence.

    Sunderland v Norwich

Fletcher – 6.5 Coral. 4.5 elsewhere. Difficult to see past Fletcher against a Norwich team who can struggle to score.

    Tottenham v Fulham

Bale – 4.00 at most. Price is naturally dropping due to recent form but still a good bet. Suspended last nit so will be fresh and keen to show what a difference he makes to the side.

    Wigan v Newcastle

Cisse – 8.00 at Paddy Power looks huge for a player who appears to be getting back into form. Just 6.5 at a few others.

    ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIP

    Blackpool v Peterborough

Two teams capable of scoring and a good BTTS pick therefore wise to look at scorers..

Ince – 6.00 at Coral looks good.
Gayle- 9.00 at Ladbrokes (7.5 elsewhere) for a player in form looks big.

Like Benteke and Remy probably worth backing both.

    Barnsley v Watford

Vydra – 6.00 at Paddy Power for the top scorer of Watford. Watford also have the best away record and have scored the most in the league.

    EUROPEAN good prices

    Dortmund v Freiburg

Gotze – 7.00 Bwin. Low as 4.5 elsewhere. Player in form and takes set peices including pens.

    Leverkusen v Bayern Munich

Mandzukic – 5.5 Bet365. Tough away game for Bayern but they rested Mandzukic midweek and the team will want to bounce back with a win.

    Real Madrid v Mallorca
    Barcelona v Rayo Vallecano

Ronaldo and Messi anytime double 1.66 Stan James. Low odds granted, but both are at home and against weak opposition. So long as they aren’t rested both should, if not WILL score. The double is as low as 1.29 at BetVictor, so 1.66 looks good in comparison.

Both are a highest 2.7 to score first with Paddy Power which could well be good money makers. First scorer Double is 7.29 at Paddy Power.

    Good Luck!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Elliott, some good stuff there. Ba was ineligible to confirm.

  8. Elliott 11 years ago

Just noticed Mandukic wasn’t rested midweek…sorry…but did come off after 70 mins so should be starting for Bayern.

  9. Greg Browning 11 years ago

Cheers for the Chelsea to score 3 or more yesterday Paul, had a big single on Ruban to qualify yesterday which helped after the disaster at Cheltenahm, had zenit not missed that bloody penalty it woul have turned yesterday ino a great day! Quick question, Spurs qualified last night in away goals, surely the Team that plays at home first has a huge advantage as they have potentially 120 mins to score an away goal, where as the away team in the first leg only has 90 mins to score an away goal! I would have thought away goal rule would become redundant after 90 mins in the second leg?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Greg, at the end that’s the rules so clubs know the score. But you can look at it both ways. If there is only extra time for the away leg the advantage should be with the home team as they get an extra half an hour to win it on their own soil, in front of their own fans. Not many would have fancied Spurs to score next goal when it went into extra time last night.

  10. Greg Browning 11 years ago

Yeah I guess that’s a fair shout, Away goal can be a killer!

  11. Fernando Cardoso 11 years ago

Well, well, well… let’s start another weekend full of football… wish you all good luck!!!

FC Copenhagen to win at 1.36. FC Copenhagen is clear favourite in this game. 1st in the league. Good form. Home record – last time they lost at home was in 24/10/11 which is amazing!!! And finally head 2 head between those 2 teams is also clear. 8-0-1.

Legia Warsaw to win at 1.57 – Legia Warsaw is first in polish league. They playing a good team, 4th in league. They managed to draw against 3rd Polonia W. and 2nd Lech Poznan, both away games. Legia only lost 1 game at home this season. Head 2 head is also clear. 12-4-1.

RNK Split to win at 2.25 – This is probably the easiest game on my accumulator, with an excellent odd. I cant see other result other than a win for Split. Head 2 head is clear. 0-0-3. Inter is last on league. Split is fighting for 2 place.

Hapoel Nazareth Illit to win at 1.85 – they playing a good side, currently 4th, Hapoel Petah Tikva. Both teams are in good form, but head 2 head give home team clear advantage. 4-0-1 at home. And 7-2-2 in total, which means Nazareth are clear favourites in this game.

Karpaty Lviv to win at 2.20 – expect a low score game (maybe 0-1)… last Metalurh Zaporizhya win at home was in May last year. Since then, they only draw 1 game (0-0) in November. Head 2 Head between those 2 teams is very thight. 2-2-2. But recent form and position in the league give me absolute trust in away win.

    5 Folds – 1 Stake – 5.23 – To Return 102.63

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Fernando, you’re not the first to tip Karpaty at a decent price too.

    • Danny 11 years ago

Fernando I had looked a RNK Split earlier and thought they were a good price away to bottom side Zaprešić but left them out due to tipping them 2 weeks on the bounce and they drew and got beat however after more consideration on a different matchup in the Croatian NHL I think I may have found a gem for everyone to get on 2nd bottom NK Zagreb host 3rd placed and Europa league hopefuls lokomotiv Zagreb granted there away form hasn’t been great but thet must be worth a punt @ 4.00 bet365

  12. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Paul, I’ve just stuck £50 on btts so lets hope we get a wee result. I’ve stuck on all my bets on the mother well game apart from Griffiths. I’ve already stuck £100 on Higdon first and £20 last. I was going to stick £100 on Griffiths but I’m now unsure. I’m thinking maybe to do £50 first and last instead as a better return. What you reckon? £100 on anytime only returns £175 profit. Decisions decisions.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, either or both could score. Or of course none of them so as you know there are no guarantees. It’s almost a toss of the coin if you’re going for first scorer. I’m looking at backing both to score but I know you like the bigger odds. PS. What about Mulgrew tomorrow against his old side?

  13. Chris Guy 11 years ago

    Or maybe £50 ew

  14. The Dane 11 years ago

    DENMARK.

There can be no doubt who will win this game; the question is by how much?

FC Copenhagen have played Horsens twice allready this season and have lost one and drawn one … away. FC Copenhagen are 11-1-0 at home having won 8 of those 11 by more than 1 goal and if Horsens hadn’t played 90% of their away games under 2.5 goals I would have invested in FC Copenhagen -1.5.

Horsens have lost 5 of their last 6 but this is real money being invested so I’m going for the “safe” option and are having my investment back if Copenhagen win by just 1 goal.

FC Copenhagen – Horsens (5.30 UK)
    FC Copenhagen -1
    Odds: 1,60
Stake: €37.00 (7.4% of my fixed €500.00 for this Danish series)

If you’re looking for a safe bet for a double or triple don’t hesitate using FC Copenhagen.

    The Dane.

    • Rick 11 years ago

I posted without seeing your post! Guess my question is answered lol! Thanks Dane!

  15. Rick 11 years ago

Anyone else think Copenhagen -1 at 2.10 (Paddy Power) is a good bet? They have won 8 of their 11 home games by 2 or more goals. While Horsens have only lost 2 away games by 2 goals, they have lost their last 3 away, 0-2, 0-2 and 0-1.

  16. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Paul Griffiths to score anytime is out to 19/10 now! Great price when the likes of Ladbrokes only offering 6/5 and William Hill and Paddy Power only offering 5/4. Anyway here’s my bets for tonight. Hopefully Higdon grabs the first and then Griffiths later. All I need is for Griffiths to score and I at least break even for tonight.

    £100 Higdon First Goal 11/2 @ Coral
    £20 Higdon Last Goal 11/2 @ Coral
    £100 Griffiths anytime 19/10 @ Victor Chandler
£5 Ht Hibs Ft Motherwell 35/1 @ Betfair
£5 Ht Motherwell Ft Hibs 50/1 @ Betfair

    £50 on Mr Fixits btts

    Outlay £280

  17. Fernando Cardoso 11 years ago

I decided to stay away from Dutch market on BTTS… odds are lower as everybody bet on that market as they expect many goals on that league. Therefore I checked few other leagues, and Austrian 1st league is my favourite in this kind of market.

Altach vs Lustenau – 1.80 – 4th against 5th in the league. 13 matches played between those 2 teams and 30 goals scored. Altach scored 17 and conceded 13. The only time away team didn’t scored was in 17/08/12 (3-0)… all the other games between them had goals scored for both sides.

Kapfenberger vs First Vienna – 1.80 – last game result between those 2 teams was 3-3. I expect an attack game, definitely with both teams scoring.

    Also add

Sigma Olomouc vs Banik Ostrvava – home win at 1.61. Playing for 2nd place in league, Sigma is in a good form, specially at home. Head 2 head is interesting too. 11-6-2.

And a very risky bet on Chernomorets Burgas vs Botev Plovdiv – home win at 3.60. Botev are definitely a home team. They struggle to win away. In the other side, Burgas have an excellent coach Dimitrov. They are not in good form, but they also been very unlucky in some games. Only Levski managed to win at Burgas home which was 2 weeks ago. Previous team to win there was Slavia on 25/09/2011 which is why I think Burgas in home team and almost impossible to be beaten at home.

  18. Smoqer 11 years ago

Hi Guys . Today I have Legia Warszawa vs Gornik Zabrze , Gornik sold best scorer Milik to Leverkusen , and second best player Nakoulma is not in good form . Legia Is main favourite to title in Poland . Little afraid about weather conditions lot of snow today . Legia to win – 1,7 .
Add Grodig in second Austrian Leauge 1,4
and Copenhaga 1,4 ( Little afraid that they have too much difference )
Also BTTS which I play : Sp.Rotterdam vs Maastricht
    Graafshap vs Emmen
    Cambur vs Helmond
    Veendam vs Oss
    Kapfenberg vs F.Vienna
    Guingamp vs Caen
    Monaco vs Angres

  19. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Paul I’ve already backed Mulgrew. £60 first goal and £25 last goal @ 14/1 with Bet365. He’s as short as 8/1 with Coral. If he scores first I get £900 back and if he scores last £375. If Higdon scores first tonight I will be going into Hills shop to back £100 or £200 on him to score at anytime also. Hills have him at 12/1 for first goal which isn’t the best but for some reason they offer the best price for him to score anytime, a tempting 5/1 which is bigger than I expected. The price is even more appealing when you consider Wanyama is out. Think Charlie will be raring to go in front of the home fans against his former team. My advice back him anytime and put a few quid on first and last.

  20. Danny 11 years ago

lets see if I can tip the Icelandic cup double 2 nights in a row think it pays a best 2.75 BetVictor

    Stjarnan
    Akranes

  21. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Fernando I don’t think the odds are much different in Dutch btts than they are Scottish btts market

    • Fernando Cardoso 11 years ago

You’re right Chris. But I prefer to explore other leagues such as Austrian, Croatian and Bulgarian leagues. They offer us many goals and the odds are almost all the time higher than 1.70 on BTTS… UK and Dutch leagues are lower than 1.7 on most of the games, and the games that we expect many goals, end with a 0-0… I would say that in the last few months I lost quite a lot of money with Inverness for example. 2 consecutive 0-0 draws. And I stopped betting Dutch league since Sparta Rot. vs Den Bosch game (1-5). lol. I’m still in shock!!! :)… but, yes, you’re right. There’s not a much difference between those 2 leagues.

  22. Danny 11 years ago

    lets get really weird lads

    Montenegro/Slovakian Treble @ 3.95/1

    Buducnost – Sutjeska – Senica

    KO – 2PM 2PM 4.30PM

    • Fernando Cardoso 11 years ago

Danny… I checked your games and Budocnost to win is in my opinion clear. But I wouldn’t bet on Petrovac vs Sutjeska. I know away team is 1st on the league and in good form, but when they play Petrovac they always seems to struggle a lot. Head to head between them give home team clear advantage, meaning that the game wont be easy for Sutjeska. 6-4-1… yes, only 1 away win. There’s always time for the 2nd one, but it is a bit risky.

3 of them look good Vince don’t know about the ostrava to win the 1st half and sigma to win the game seems dodgy its your bet mate only you can decide

  30. flyboivince 11 years ago

  33. John 11 years ago

I didn’t know Mulgrew played for Aberdeen? Then again i had no idea who Ledley was up until a month or so ago :-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, he rejoined Celtic from Aberdeen after reincarnating his career at Pittodrie. Left Celtic to go down south but never settled.

  34. John 11 years ago

I missed out on a cracker in last nights 1st Icelandic game, seen the away side 1-0 down and close to half time they were 14/1 to net 4 goals, which they did, the home side had conceded 8 in their last 3 home games so it had a chance but i left it alone…anyone know if the Muppets are recruiting? :-)

  35. the chief 11 years ago

My Btts dutch Jupiter league treble is

    Sparta ROtterdam vs MVV Maastricht
    Camburr vs Helmond

  36. Striker 11 years ago

I’m going for these 3 Juliper League Dutch games for BTTS

It was fun to watch Paul getting paid :-)

  38. NBAgambler 11 years ago

Did another match in the Brisbane Premier League this morning, Capalaba vs Brisbane Wolves. Backed over 3.5 goals. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to how many goals were actually scored in this match …………………………10!!!! 10 goals, 1-2 at half time, 3-7 at full time!!!! These lower leagues in oz are unreal. Odds for this bet were only 31/50 but when these teams are scoring as freely as this it’s easy money. This is my new favourite league, OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!

    • Striker 11 years ago

@NBAGambler haha, that is madness. Might have a look at that next week.

  39. John 11 years ago

Just commenting on the RNK Split game, it’s 0-0 at half time, are you guys still confident they can win? Just thinking of having an in play bet

  40. flyboivince 11 years ago

Nbagambler i was on the moggil vs Brisbane knights both game today it was just brilliant goals galore

  41. Danny 11 years ago

don’t know John I tipped them up to weeks in a row and they got beat and drew so there dodgy in my opinion at the moment my tip of lok Zagbreb appears to be fairing a tad better however that can all change in an instance

  42. Danny 11 years ago

    just like that lol

  43. Danny 11 years ago

Christ was 2-2 3 minutes ago now 2-4 lokZagreb

  44. Colm 11 years ago

Won £67.50 on milesy s tips, anyone know a good bet to double it tonight??

  45. John 11 years ago

Put a small stake on Union Berlin to net 2 or more goals, 11/10 and already 1 in the bag, hoping another comes along

  46. the chief 11 years ago

Im using my gold cup winnings on the rugby tonight, Wigan av number of injuries but that didn’t stop Wigan keeping Catlan pointless last week, Leeds suffered a huge defeat at home last week, and their pride will be wounded, and Leeds did beat Wigan in the challenge cup, and In the playoffs but Wigan were without Sam Tomkins that night and he his the biggest star in the game, on Wigan last trip to headingly Wigan put 50+ on Leeds, and although it won’t be that easy I’m taking wigan to win tonight.

    BET Wigan -2 11/10
BET Tomkins to score and Wigan to win 9/4

Good luck if your having a bet

  47. John 11 years ago

BOOM….Union Berlin grab the 2nd goal before half time, nice :-)

  48. Colm 11 years ago

    Will do John cheers

  49. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Just stuck another £30 first and last on Griffiths @ 6/1. Hope this game doesn’t finish 0-0 or I’m fecked

  50. Paul 11 years ago

Potential shock on the cards – Horsens have now gone 2 up at Copenhagen. I did this as an Over 2.5.

Still time I know but hopefully not too many of you did this as a home win?

  51. Paul 11 years ago

    What am I talking about…1 – 1 lol

    • Rick 11 years ago

I did it as a -1 handicap for Copenhagen. Placed another bet at 0-1 so I’ll be slightly in profit if they win, have a big profit if it’s by 2 or more goals and a painful and large loss if they don’t win!
Watched much of the first half, they have been awful!

  52. Rick 11 years ago

How have Copenhagen such a great home record? They are terrible!

  53. Paul 11 years ago

Lovely…Copenhagen got a second at the death which settles my Over 2.5. :)

  54. Lamby 11 years ago

Late winner for Copenhagen. Took a risk and got on it late.

  55. flyboivince 11 years ago

could u believe it Copenhagen just scored 2-1 over 2.5

  56. Dean 11 years ago

It’s just the best feeling when a winner is scored in injury time.

  57. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Dutch league slow with goals. 23 mins gone and only one game with goals. Strange.

  58. Lamby 11 years ago

I’ve a tenner to play with. Any tips guys?

  59. Rick 11 years ago

Dug me out of a big hole that late winner, completely undeserved mind! Need the Dutch league to start catching fire in goal terms.

  60. weordie 11 years ago

Was just about to say that chris, well in to half hour and still only one

  61. flyboivince 11 years ago

waiting on a goal from the icelandic cup 32 mins no sign of a goal yet ??? goals where u @?

    • Rick 11 years ago

Not looking good for over 3.5 goals in the Iceland game BUT last night’s game was the same, 0-0 after an hour then 4 goals in 20 minutes!

  62. Rick 11 years ago

Talked myself out of having Zwolle vs Roda as a BTTS, was in within 10 minutes!

  63. weordie 11 years ago

well there’s two straight after I post that

  64. Chris Guy 11 years ago

That’s a bit more like it, more goals please.

  65. weordie 11 years ago

Aye Lamby, the opposite of anything I bet on

  66. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Lamby Higdon or Griffiths first goal in Morherwell game

  67. Lamby 11 years ago

What have you bet on weordie? That might just work! :D

  68. Lamby 11 years ago

I’m already on Higdon FS – Never do those type of bets so here’s hoping Chris.

  69. weordie 11 years ago

Heh sorry to warn you but I’m higdon, also on btts in that game, wolfsburg to win and the treble btts from holland mate (sorry guys I’ve prob bust everyone on here)

  70. Rick 11 years ago

Hmmmm.. I decided to do a Cambuur, Sparta, De Graaf BTTS and left out Veendam and FC Eindhoven, derp!

  71. the chief 11 years ago

    **** update****

Sam tomkins ain’t playing for wigan so the wincast is now void, anyone wanting anytime tryscorer should look at farrell 2/1, its a pity he is injured but that’s sport.

    good luck

  72. flyboivince 11 years ago

halftime and no goes yet in the cup game from iceland

  73. AL (Phd) 11 years ago

Couple of in play bets at half time

    CAMBUUR V HELMOND (1-0)
    SPARTA ROTTERDAM V MAASTRICHT (0-1)

OVER 2.5 GOALS DOUBLE Pays £50 for a £14 stake

OVER 3.5 GOALS DOUBLE Pays £60 for a £5 stake

OVER 4.5 GOALS DOUBLE Pays £72 for a £1 stake

  74. weordie 11 years ago

There we go, Wolfsburg been all over Fortuna, Fortuna first attack of the game… 1-0

  75. Lamby 11 years ago

And Hibs take the lead :S

  76. flyboivince 11 years ago

weordie was the same fate frieburg suffered last week the did all the attacking and wolsburg did the hammering

  77. the chief 11 years ago

Nice too c farrell score anytime at 2/1 hope u were on!

  78. weordie 11 years ago

Yeah looks like another massive bust for me on the football again tonight. I really should stop, I’m useless at this

  79. flyboivince 11 years ago

weordie its one all to wolsburg

  80. weordie 11 years ago

Yeah but it was on a coupon with some of the dutch BTTS for me so doesn’t matter the result. There was always tons of goals in those games until I started betting on them…

I’m lucky I had 3 winners on a lucky 15 at cheltenham today

  81. Paul 11 years ago

Frustrating and I`m sure I`m not the only one here – the Cambuur game letting me down on the BTTS and Overs double. :(

  82. Chris Guy 11 years ago

I got Motherwell at 35/1, they may save me a few quid if they can hang on but I’d take Griffiths to score anytime

  83. Elliott 11 years ago

I’ve backed Higdon and Griffiths last goal too, typical Higdon’s goal will prob end up sandwiched between the others. Grr!

Mr F’s over 2.5 tip is in at least….

  84. Lamby 11 years ago

    Need a Wolfsburg Win!

  85. Chris Guy 11 years ago

My ht Hibs Ft Motherwell tip @ 35/1 is looking good. A Griffiths or Higdon last goal would be good.

  86. flyboivince 11 years ago

Marseille are just aweful 3 shots on target in 80 mins cant score a goal ?

  87. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Give me Griffiths last goal please for an extra £500.

  88. Paul 11 years ago

Did anyone get on the Iceland women’s game that’s currently in-play? I had the Over 1.5 HT and 3.5 FT.

  89. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Took a loss tonight. Have faith in Mulgrew tomorrow 14/1 first goal and last goal with Bet365 and 5/1 anytime with William Hill.

  90. flyboivince 11 years ago

    • Paul 11 years ago

no goals yet in 41 mins

    • Rick 11 years ago

The 7pm Iceland cup game and 9pm game last night had 0-0 HT. Both ended with 4 goals, not writing it off yet! :D

  95. Paul 11 years ago

Fingers crossed for you. Let`s hope the second half follows lots of the recent Iceland games and brings lots of goals.

  96. flyboivince 11 years ago

    yea paul , lets hope

  97. SteveR 11 years ago

Nice one Chris G, I was on your half time Hibs full time Motherwell tip. Made a few squid . Good man and cheers .

    BIG PRICED TREBLE FOR SATURDAY

    BOLTON 9/5
    SWANSEA 12/5
    BRISTOL CITY 23/10

Bolton are in fantastic form unbeaten in 8 and winning last 5,fantastic price for them away to an Ipswich team with only 1 win in 5.
Swansea are unbeaten in last 8 at home which included games with Man Utd and Chelsea,on their day they have proven to be a match for anyone,im willing to back them at generous against an inconsistant Arsenal just back from Germany and minus Jack Wilshire for this game.
Bristol City have won last 4 and are finding a bit of form just when they need it most, indeed since the New Year the likes of Watford,Forest and Brighton have been unable to record a victory against them and i cant see Ipswich who have only won once in last 15 games recording a rare win.Bristol City are worth backing at those odds. £10 stake returns an incredible £314.16
