Sunday, Meadow Lane, 4.30pm

HARTLEPOOL have been one of the surprise sides of the season and started with a nine-match unbeaten run.

Mick Wadsworth's men lost for the first time at Sheffield Wednesday and there's no disgrace in that.

Now they face another tough test at a Notts County side who are trying to recover from a 3-0 defeat to MK Dons last time out in the league.

Pool remain unbeaten away and my initial thought was to go for a draw but County have won four out of five at Meadow Lane and could edge this one.

They are a biggest 11-10 with the likes of Ladbrokes and bet365 while Pool are 3-1 with Chandler.

Lee Hughes will be the biggest danger to the visitors and he is 5-1 with Coral to bag the opener.

On Tuesday Scunthorpe were the only side in England not to score and in League One yesterday every side hit the target except Exeter so it was another expensive day for the bookies.

I reckon both sides could score here and that's likely to bring up even more accumulators for people who mixed and matched Sunday games.

Recommendations

Hughes to score first

(5-1, Coral)

Both teams to score

(8-11, Ladbrokes)
