There's a huge night of play-offs in Scotland tonight. KevMac looks ahead to the two ties and picks out his best tips.
Dundee v Kilmarnock
KILMARNOCK are flirting with the drop just two seasons after finishing third in the Premiership under Steve Clarke.
The Rugby Park side delivered one of my super singles at the weekend by beating Hamilton but it wasn’t enough as relegation rivals Ross County also won.
Now Killie face a shoot-out with Dundee for their top-flight spot and they are red-hot 2/9 favourites with William Hill to stay up.
Tommy Wright’s men are in good form, losing just one of their last nine inside 90 minutes, so it’s easy to see why McBookie price them at evens to win tonight’s first leg at Dens.
But Dundee have also lost just one of their last eight – and that was the second leg of their semi with Raith after winning 3-0 in Fife.
It should be a decent game so I fancy goals, with BTTS priced 8/11 and McBookie and over 2.5 goals a bit better at 5/6.
Both teams have strikers in form with Kyle Lafferty 10/11 at McBookie for another Killie goal and Jason Cummings better value at 19/10.
It could get tasty in midfield as Charlie Adam battles Alan Power, with the Dundee veteran evens at McBookie for a card and the Killie man 5/4.
Dumbarton v Edinburgh City
Dumbarton lead Edinburgh City 3-1 heading into the second leg of their League One Final and look good value at 21/20 (McBookie) for another win at home.
Super single
- Over 2.5 goals at Dens (5/6, McBookie)
Deadly double
- Lafferty to score and Adam to be carded (282/100, McBookie)
McBookie star bet
- Dumbarton shut out Stranraer in the play-off semi and are 21/10 for a clean sheet tonight.
