THE first tennis Grand Slam of the season – the Australian Open – is just a week away and Novak Djokovic has nudged ahead in the title betting following his Qatar final win over world No.1 Andy Murray.
Djokovic was available at 2-1 a week ago but is now in to 13-8 favourite at Betfred to claim the Melbourne crown for a seventh time.
Murray, yet to lift the Aussie title despite reaching the final five times, has drifted to 7-4 at Unibet after his career-best 28-match winning streak was ended by Djokovic in the Gulf.
Grigor Dimitrov disposed of Milos Raonic and Kei Nishikori on his way to Brisbane Open glory and he's an outsider to consider at 66-1 with 188bet while other hopefuls include Raonic at 20-1 with Skybet, Roger Federer at 22-1 with BetVictor and Marin Cilic at 80-1 with Ladbrokes.

Sometimes its better to go with detailed stats instead of just picking the ‘best’ players on the field, or going with your gut feeling. I am not familiar with all the BDO players , but Reynolds and Harms are seeded 7th and 9th. They had some good results in December last year and are playing weaker opposition. Harms plays tomorrow btw.
I’d urge caution over Harms Mr Orange. I backed Ratajski to win his qualifier yesterday and for BDO standard he was hitting some big numbers, if he improves his doubling I reckon he’ll see off a substandard Harms who is not on form at all.

Should never have doubted you mate. Think it was just before xmas ‘he’ had 12/15 winners and my head was swung. I usually try and stick with a tipster through thick and thin but my head was turned. With so many tips on NFL its difficult to know who to follow as a layman. Now I know!!

Update on my antepost tips dated 8 th sept picked out Arizona and Washington in the NFC but picked Pittsburgh and Kansas at 11/1 and 22/1 in the AFC .Also on the 12th Dec again icked Pittsburgh at 12/1 and green bay at 22/1 seems a big price now .
New England are still the team to beat but at least I still in the mix .
Regarding tips on here I have always followed and looked out for certain people . NFL Jordan , Lee, basketball Jordan Raoul, hunter, Greg on the goals markets .

Had two players in mind for props tonight but I’m reading here that Jimmy Butler is questionable with an illness. That said, the Bulls have a busy week and will play tomorrow night so I’m leaving him out of the equation.

On poor run, with only few games tonight putting my nba/nhl picks together for a longshot
Some amazing tipping Jordan! Work commitments had me away but I went double my usual stake on bell/steelers . Disappointed i over taught the packers game, best qb in the league right now, but I’m not reading into there defensive efforts, the Giants offence was simply awful and a few missed catches cost them dearly!
Tonight I’m going for a 1 stake double on New York and thunder. Pelicans are 4-13 on the road and the Knicks (although beaten) were impressive against the bucks and scored 39 in the late qauter of the Pacers game!
Butler may not line out tonight and I’m taking the risk he won’t! I think oladipo will be important in this game to get the thin get over the line .
