WATFORD went from zeroes to heroes with fixed-odds fans at the weekend as they blew a 2-0 half-time lead to lose 4-2.

Their first-half display transformed Man City from 1-20 shots to 5-2 at one point – and the beauty of the internet allowed me to advise backing the Premier League side inplay.

City's comeback cost bookies an estimated £10million with one Coral customer collecting £52k for 2x£1 12folds that include Mauricio Pellegrini's side.

So punters have a lot to thank Watford for and tonight could cash in again by taking both teams to score at 3-4 with McBookie and Ladbrokes.

Forest are 21-10 favourites at William Hill but Watford have performed well under new boss Giuseppe Sannino and their FA Cup loss was his first since taking charge eight games ago.

Watford are a biggest 3-1 at Betfred but draw at 5-2 with Paddy Power could be the call and that is my prediction in today's Daily Record.

Between them they have drawn 21 times in the Championship this season and it was 1-1 at Vicarage Road earlier this season.

Several Forest fans have commented saying their side will badly miss banned midfielder Henri Lansbury and striker David Vaughan who has returned to parent club Sunderland.

The only other game to look at tonight is the Spanish Cup clash between Racing Santander and Real Sociedad.

Third-tier Racing are skint and players threatened to strike ahead of the tie after not being paid for weeks.

It will go ahead and it's tough to see beyond top-flight Sociedad who won the first leg 3-1. They are 7-10 at William Hill.

Sociedad have kept just one clean sheet in 14 so again both to score at 8-11 with McBookie could be best bet on the tie.

It's likely Real will rest many of their first-choice stars so if you fancy a scorer bet check teams. Monday's hat-trick hero Antoine Griezmann isn't expected to start but if he does back him. Carlos Vela also netted against Elche and the ex-Arsenal ace is worth a look if he gets the nod.

Mamadou Kone is threat for Racing and netted his side's consolation in the first leg. He will start and is 4-1 at bet365 to score.
