MANY sports fans will be early to watch Andy Murray v Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open Final. If it turns into a marathon you might not want to switch over to Real Madrid v Getafe.

I can't remember the last time a Real match kicked off at 11am UK time but it gives punters a chance to land an early boost.

Real were back to their best in hammering Valencia 5-0 in La Liga before taking their foot off the gas for a 1-1 second-leg draw.

Jose Mourinho's men lost in Getafe earlier in the season so will be busting a gut to wreak revenge. Biggest price on a home is 1-6 (various).

Elsewhere I've suggested Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs minus one in the FA Cup and it could be day to back the favourites this way, including Barcelona against Osasuna and Bayern Munich at Stuttgart.

I was going to put a treble but although I don't like doing a sixfold, looking at these I can't see any of them slipping up.

Odd are short of course but the super six pays just over 4-1 and that's similar to what I'd do with the treble.

You could be even greedier and add Celtic against St Mirren in the League Cup semis and PSG at home to Lille in the French league but I'd never advocate an eightfold.

For my Super Single I looked at AC Milan at Atalanta but settled for Napoli at Parma. Napoli will be lifted by the fact leaders Juventus were held at home to Genoa on Saturday so they can close to within three point of the champions.

Parma are unbeaten in six but have lost four of their last five to the Naples outfit. The difference here could be Edison Cavani who has netted 11 goals in his last 10 games and is 7-2 at Betway to bag the opener.

I’ve totally stopped football betting and who can blame me with results such as Norwich 0-1 Luton but Real Madrid and Chelsea should be a good double…. We will find out

  4. john g 11 years ago

I’m getting sick of these results as well, goin to have another go later, probably go with the three English teams Mr fixit mentioned and maybe add one more out the six. If any of the big guns slip up tomorrow I’m packing it in

Golf – Outright farmers Insurance Open

    TIGER WOODS @8/13

Tiger Woods, who didn’t even come to Torrey Pines on Saturday, remains in the driver’s seat — in more ways than one. The world No. 2 is a formidable foe anywhere but particularly here at these two stunning courses on the Pacific coast where he’s a six-time Farmers Insurance Open champion and has only shot above par three times in 49 trips rounds.

Not to mention, Woods is hitting the ball extremely well. He leads the field in both driving distance and total driving which is a lethal combination on a damp South Course that will be playing longer than its 7,698 yards. He’s not going to be undone by the delay, either.

“I have been out here long enough to know that this is a part of the game,” Woods said. “I’ll be ready to go tomorrow.”

None of the seven players closest to Woods have won a PGA TOUR event, either. He has won 74, which ranks second all-time, including three last year. He had to start somewhere, though, way back at the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational when he was 21 years old, and they might as well, too. But it will likely take the best golf of their careers.

“The guy that’s winning the golf tournament has won a lot before, so in order to beat him, you’re going to have to play some good golf and everybody knows that,” said Casey Wittenberg, who is among six players tied at 8 under, three off the lead. “So we’ll have to get out there and see what we can do.”

Billy Horschel, who said he never came close to warming up on Saturday, trails Woods by two at 9 under. He’ll play with him for the first — and second — time, too, since the players won’t be re-paired for the final round in an attempt to get done as quickly as possible.

“It’s a pretty cool thing that’s going to happen,” the eager 28-year-old said.

Horschel said he’s gotten plenty of advice from friends and fellow players about playing with Woods. Jim Furyk texted him and told the Florida grad to make sure and play his own game. Defending champion Brandt Snedeker cautioned not to get caught up in the atmosphere or anything Woods does.

“You’re going to have to grind some stuff out,” Horschel said. “Don’t try to match him or anything that he does. He’s going to be making some incredible shots, whether he’s 8 over par or 8 under par, it doesn’t really matter.

“I think the gist of it comes down to that everyone just said play your own game.”

Sometimes, though, that’s easier said than done.

I’ve found Sunday betting more profitable I don’t know why but I always seem to do better I can’t see any of them six getting beat and will be adding Celtic hopefully for a super seven heaven.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Phil, I’ve had better luck recently on Sundays than Saturdays, maybe because there is less choice which focuses the mind a bit more.

  7. Muzza 11 years ago

    Good morning Milesey!
Terrible day on th GG’s yesterday & my football was even worse. I did a crazy bet on Luton, MK Dons to win and Boro v Aldershot to draw which was looking good until the 93rd minute for about £1500 for my £10 – gutted or what?!

Anyway, on Monday me and 3 mates are doing a little comp we do 3 times a year where we all start with £200 and the person with the most winnings at the end of the month wins. We usually do either footy or horses and I do ok on horses but rubbish on footy and this time it is a combo of the two. The winner gets £200 off everyone so if you lose your starting pot you can end up losing £400. Any profit made by all of us goes on a good night out and some to charity etc. last time we did it was September and one of my mates mate just under £10K! Where as I went for bust on the last weekend and lost the lot – I was only on £350 but still cost me and its more about the bragging rights.

I was hoping that you and Mr F might fancy helping me out this time by suggesting bets and stakes for me? Have to be a bit cautious with it as you are not supposed to replenish your starting kitty – although I am sure some do but it means you lose more!!

Let me know what you think. Cheers mate

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Muzza, at the end of the day you’re playing a dangerous game because you’re inessence trying to chase a profit. If it was me I’d tke the tips I like here, betting mostly singles, and see where it takes me. The important thing is not to lose but even without your game that’s why punters try to do anyway. I’m sure, however, Milesey will give you some ideas because this seems right up his street.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

Cheers Mr F. The biggest problem I have is selecting the wrong tips – too much choice I guess just need it narrowing down. Any way it is fun & we only play for what we can afford to lose but you know how it is – the one who wins shouts he loudest & after Septembers performance big Andy is still gloating! To be fair he did take us all away for a superb weekend with the winnings!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Muzza, good luck with it anyway. Right, I’m off to the boy’s football an try to keep track of Murray.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

Cheers Mr F ill let you know how it goes! Great 1st set for Murray – he almost smiled!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Craig, I think it’s the right way if the prices are good enough. Some bookies, for example Betway, will return your stake if you get one wrong in an accumulator. But check the terms and conditions.

  14. JackSparrow 11 years ago

No Falcao for Atletico tonight. They’ve only scored 5 in 7 without him. Just saying.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Jack, he’s out injured for a couple of weeks. Without him this could be a draw although Athletic have struggled for most of the season.

  15. Mike 11 years ago

Morning all! You think real will win to nil fixit? Or do you think getafe will grab a goal?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mike, sorry wasn’t about to answer you. However, my tip would have been Real to win to nil and Ronaldo to score a hat-trick!

    • milesey 11 years ago

Mine would have been Real Madrid 4-0, Ronaldo last goal scorer ! ;) ;)

  16. James Coyle 11 years ago

I have a query regarding the time of the 5th goal in the Man Utd vs Fulham match yesterday. I wish to find out the exact time when Fulham scored their goal in the match, is it possible you could that anyone here could give me a note of the time when Fulham scored their goal. I believe it was between 19:04pm and 19:07pm but wish to find out exactly what time – minutes and seconds. I would really appreciate your help with this matter.

    • milesey 11 years ago

      3 minutes Giggs
      50 minutes rooney
      52 minutes Hernandez
      66 minutes Hernandez
      77 minutes HUGHES ( FULHAM)

    • Muzza 11 years ago

James According to The Guardian website the goal was scored at 7:06 pm, I hope this helps?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, if you haven’t got an answer I can tell you when the goalflash went out when I get to the office. That is sent to us within seconds of the goal being scored.

    • James Coyle 11 years ago

Paul, I would really appreciate it if you could post a note of the time that the goal flash went out. I placed my bet at 19:05:46 so I just need to know if Fulham scored before that time or after. Thanks.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, I’m in tonight so will have a look. What’s the problem anyway?

    • James Coyle 11 years ago

I placed a bet on Under 4.5 Goals at a price of 10/11 in the Man Utd game in-running.

When the the bet was placed in-shop, Man Utd were winning 4-0, however, Fulham then scored.

What I am trying to establish is whether Fulham scored before my bet was struck or if they scored after my bet was struck.

My bet was struck at 19:05:46. At best, my bet would be void if it was struck seconds after Fulham had already scored.

If you find out the info I require can you post on the forum here or email me:

      Cheers Paul

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, it must have been placed before because otherwise the market would have been suspended. However, I’ll see what time the PA flash gves.

    • James Coyle 11 years ago

Cheers Paul. I am under the impression that when my bet was struck, the betting was in the process of being suspended. What I don’t know is if the betting had already been suspended or was it in the process of being suspended? It’s a fine line with literally seconds in it either way.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, which bookie and where was the shop?

    • milesey 11 years ago

If it was suspended they shouldn’t have taken the bet, just go in with your slip and see what they say when they scan it, they may just pay you out, if they don’t argue it, for they shouldn’t have taken it if the market is suspended !

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, the bet’s a loser, he’s trying to see if it is void. Same as you, I think if they’ve taken it he’s got it on just before suspended.

    • milesey 11 years ago

oh didn’t realise his bet was a loser, hahaha, so he wants the bet to be void then ?

I know many a trick for getting bets void, or arguing to get your money in the shops, a good one is always writing the wrong time on your slip for a dog race, if it don’t come in you get the bet void ;)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, thought it was all computerised now. You’re talking about the days when you were a lad.

    • milesey 11 years ago

They still go through in corals even now, the shop has to be busy and the race just about to go off…. there is someone who used to do this all the time in my local corals and they banned him, another one of his tricks was to get his bet on late and argue that he has problems with his legs and went as fast as he could hahaha, he used to sit in the pub next door and get his lad to do them for him after he got banned, then a member of staff followed the lad into the pub and led them straight to the bloke that was banned already !

    • James Coyle 11 years ago

It was William Hills in Muirhead.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, OK. I’ll look at PA and also I’m sure Owen (Nocko) can give us a steer.

If you were in a shop then you must have placed the bet before hand, the time it takes to bring the market back up after a suspension in a bookie shop can take upto 5 minutes, so if you saw them odds then i would take a guess you placed it before, just go into the shop with your slip and let them scan it, if your not happy with the outcome then walk away and investigate more !

Stevie he is just a guy I always back. If he only scores about 10 a season at 16/1 I will be happy with that.

He’s not scored got like 15 games so due a goal. He is 16/1 with Paddy Power and Ladbrokes and 11/2 with Hills for anytime

  22. Stevie H 11 years ago

good luck with it mate, good odds mind you. may be tempted myself :-)

  23. Chris Guy 11 years ago

I’m really just chasing him for anytime and if he scores first its an added bonus. I don’t always keep the same stakes, I often increase my stake then again a few weeks later until he hits

  24. Chris Guy 11 years ago

That’s the highest amount I’ve staked on him I believe. Its usually £50 first, £100 anytime. I will bet £100 first and £200 anytime for 4 weeks now and then may look at increasing again. He will score eventually. Just a matter of time really. Once he does score I may look at the betting strategy for him but as if now I can’t stop until he hits.

  25. Stevie H 11 years ago

start as you mean to go on ;-)

I didn’t touch Chelsea for this reason, they are sh*t, would have loved to have seen Brentford beat them and bye bye Benitez, oh well maybe in the replay ;) ;)

  28. John 11 years ago

Left the bookies at half time in the Madrid game, had a thought about a small bet on them to get 2 or more…is it just me that does it or have any of you walked out, seen the score later on and thought “if i’d taken a small risk it would have paid off”? :-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, every day mate. Like today, I backed Djokovic to win but fancied 3-1 and mentioned that here but didn’t do it maybe because I wanted to see a five-set classic. I also seen someone quoting Murray to win first set and lose the match at 9-2 which in hindsight was a great bet.

  29. Danny 11 years ago

that chelsea score will have people runnin doon to the bookies for another crack at sundays fixtures. ma doubles looking awright at half time but ive got it on with the treble aswell so needing the 5 wins always a tough ask

    (9) S Anderson (Sco) V (3) P Foster (Sco)

    ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, I’ve never bet on bowls in my life. Obviously Foster is the favourite and has a few world titles in his bag so my money would be on him but I’m no expert and won’t be having a bet.

    • milesey 11 years ago

hahaha, only joking with you anyways Mr F, thought you might like a sunday afternoon nap watching the bowls with your slippers on !

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Paul, what aboot Cape Verde in the Africa champs tonight?? 7/4…need a win to progress. Not been much of a tourney/not watcjhed more that 5 mins in the odd game.. but CV are no mugs..ko’d Cameroon in the qualifiers

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, you’ve seen five minutes more than me. Just haven’t got into it this year but will try to catch up when we get to the knockout stage. Ivory Coast look nailed on to win the tournament and my only bets have been on their games.

  32. milesey 11 years ago

I looked at Leeds before the game and thought they might do something, and i know along way to go but 1-0 to leeds.

Oh well, just going to stick with what i have on now.

    • Muzza 11 years ago

      Cheers mate very helpful lol

    • milesey 11 years ago

ha ha ha ;)…… Just look for tips on here at the time, take what you fancy and leave alone what you don’t, don’t go doing no silly trebles, accums with it, at most take a nice double, but just keep rolling it with singles, even if you start with just a £50 single.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, it’s difficult to tip shocks. When games don’t go to form it’s tough for punters.

    • milesey 11 years ago

Milesey, Spurs have got a strong side out and I can see them winning it still. Remember Leeds led Chelsea 1-0 at half-time then went down 5-1.

  33. Guido 11 years ago

Milesey…ya know if any dosh going on Cape Verde 2nite?

    • milesey 11 years ago

Money for both, so it’s one Punters don’t seem to know anything about, alot of money for the draw 21/10, been told both are trading around the 7/4 mark. Maybe it’s one to leave alone for no one seems to know anything about whats going to happen here, the draw seems to be what people are favouring though, maybe because there have been quite a few draws already.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, I’ve had a quick look at some of the sites I use and most preferred tip seems to be Cape Verde draw no bet. Suggestions are that they are closely matched but Angola lack a goal threat. Plenty tipping a draw but a draw doesn’t suit either with the winner likely to qualify. Might be better to watch it then have a go inrunning, especially if Cape Verde are looking decent.

    • Guido 11 years ago

      its a tempter Paul..7/4

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, go with your gut feeling. I see Angola don’t score many so I’d favour them.

  34. James Coyle 11 years ago

Good luck to everyone who has a bet on today. I have bet Celtic on the handicaps. Can’t see past minus 1 goal at 21/20 with Stan James and 14/5 minus 2 again with Stan James is also worth getting on. A 3-0 victory would suit me down to the ground.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

James, I’m thinking the same but cup-ties so far today going with the underdog.

  35. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Gary Hooper to score anytime in first 10 mins @ 14/1 with William Hill. £30 on.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, I’d love it if Hooper scored first but I expect it to be a cagey start as most semi-finals are.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, you got the early goal but it’s gone the wrong way. Could it be shocks all round today?

  36. Guido 11 years ago

Whitz happened to BIG JOCK? been awfy quiet. Big Aggie musta knackered him oot on Burns Nicht!! :-)

  37. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Neil Lennon will be absolutely fuming

  38. John 11 years ago

Yesterday too, this time i was at home and i thought “rangers 1-O up, put your shoes on and put a small bet on it finishing a draw, can’t hurt to try”…didn’t go in and it finished a draw, i know in hindsight we all think “ah should have done that” but i just don’t seem to have that killer instinct to put that money where my mind is telling me to….anyone know of a good psychiatrist? :-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, next time “Just do it”.

  39. Bryan 11 years ago

It’s hard to see where a Mulgrew goal will come from. He’s playing central defence and he seems to be taking the corners so I don’t know where the chances will come from.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Bryan, free-kicks will be his best chance. Will hit anything they get.

    • Bryan 11 years ago

It’s a lot of money to put on someone who’s best chance of scoring is from a free-kick. I don’t see any value.

  40. milesey 11 years ago

    Leeds 2 spurs 0

    • milesey 11 years ago

Oldham @12/1 might be worth a punt the way these results are going today !

  41. James Coyle 11 years ago

    Thanks Paul

  42. flyboivince 11 years ago

mr fix all ur anytime scorer came up well done

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Flyboivince, thanks. I’m happy with that after being let down by Chelsea and Spurs. Also, I’m even happier both scored in Cagliari v Palermo after the stick I got for picking that one.

  43. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Is there something wrong with livescores or are st mirren really winning 3-1?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

No, St Mirren are 3-1 up and Liverpool 1-0 down. What a bad day for the big favourites.

  44. flyboivince 11 years ago

    milesey i did a oldham plus 2

  45. Mister Mr 11 years ago

Oldham are up for this. Liverpool are rocking. I can actually enjoy this game because I haven’t bet. The underdogs are ruling today

  46. Stephen Miller 11 years ago

    C’mon the Buddies yasss

  47. Arnie 11 years ago

Mr F, seems you are hitting gold with your anytime scorers, maybe you make it a perm fixture, i was on your tips for a treble yesterday, and am still wondering how Billy Mckay missed an empty net shocking……………………

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Arnie, yeah apparently he missed a sitter and brought out two great saves from the keeper. Re the anytime scorers I regularly put up tips even if it’s not the five to follow. If you want anytime scorers on five to follow this weekend then get your vote in.

  48. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Absolutely shocking performance from Celtic. Letting the Celtic fans down big time

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, I didn’t see that one coming. Celtic have been so dominant in recent seasons against St Mirren.

  49. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Bookies really must have made a killing today

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, 99 per cent of the accers will have the likes of Chelsea, Spurs and Celtic on them. Liverpool just levelled.

  50. Danny 11 years ago

hamburg were good value @ 6/4 should have swapped them with Paok an id be laughing few funny ones the day spurs chelsea celtic

  51. Stevie H 11 years ago

  52. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Yesssssssssssssssssss £1000 profit!! Can’t believe it, last kick of the ball. Literally last second of the game. Can you believe it. Unbelievable. Didn’t even know Mulgrew had missed a penalty

  53. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Woohoo. I knew it, I knew he was due a goal. Get in there 11/2 winner. Pity I never backed him last goal too but let’s not be too greedy eh!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, just out the shower, can’t believe Mulgrew did it for you. Well done. Check in later.

  54. Andy Waite 11 years ago

    Credit chris, came good.

  55. flyboivince 11 years ago

oldham just scored again wow super single coming up nicely

  56. Bryan 11 years ago

Well done Chris, you must be delighted. lol

After me writing him off as well. I just couldn’t see where the chance would come from with him playing central defence and taking the corners.

I take it Celtic were throwing everyone forward at the end, as they were chasing the game?

Celtic going 3-1 down probably worked in your favour.

  57. Danny 11 years ago

think Liverpool will need to bring stevie g on to start running the midfield

if yer readin Bro are u seeing that PAOK score theve not even had a shot on target going down with out a fight but like the addicted fool I am al be back for more

  58. Guido 11 years ago

Chris that was lucky! Fair play to you though – at last the big one came in – well done mate

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, 4 out of 5 in btts again tonight. Dutch game let me down but must get 5 soon. That’s two days running.

  62. John 11 years ago

Well done chris on the Mulgrew goal, it sometimes pays to be persistant with the same player, maybe he will hit another few before the season ends, good to see someone got lucky and gave the bookies a bit of a kicking :-)

  63. Danny 11 years ago

Score 2 or more double @ 5/1 Messi & Ibrahimovic

  64. Paulo 11 years ago

Feckin hell milesey your on a great roll with these big winners!

  66. Seamus 11 years ago

Gutted, angry disappointed but still faithful! Hats off to st mirren, be a good final for the neutral! Celtic under lennon celtic has been nothing but duaster at Hamden – Ross county killie and st mirren. However, in Lennon I will always trust! More good than bad. Well done and enjoy hampden st mirren fans – you deserve it!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, I hear someone won £6k on Oldham, Leeds and Brentford all to be winning at half-time.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Paul that’s a fantastic win! its all hindsight of course, but these cup games and the way the bigger teams seem to treat them nowadays must be worth a quid or 2.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Paul maybe BIG JOCKs wee birdie told him to put the long shots on today an it wiz him that scopped the £6K…cmon JOCK,,own up…wiz it u??? ;-)

ha ha ha ha ha, you trying to compete with what i have done today ?

I’m not putting my bet on Hurricane fly on here, for it would make your bets look like pocket money ;) ;)

Anyway ,well done today with your bets, i’m not going into Stakes, my Luton and Oldham bets were just small punts that came good ;) ;)

  82. Chris Guy 11 years ago

For anyone who is interested here are the prices available for a player to score in first 10 mins. I would keep stakes fairly low (says me who stuck £50 on it). There are no coupons available in William Hill, the staff just have a small card behind the counter with prices. You just look at the price for first goal and you get the 10 min price. Id stick to odds on favs at home. It is a novelty bet but returns are great. For instance a £5 double on Hooper and RVP would return in the region of £975 and its not impossible. You could even pick 4 scorers and stick on a £1 yankee. £1 double will pay around £200. Anyway as I say there are no coupons, the staff just work from a small card with prices on it kept behind the counter. I asked the staff for a copy so they put it through the machine and copies it onto a betting slip for me. Anyway here are the prices:

    7/4 – 10/1
    2/1 – 10/1
    9/4 – 10/1
    5/2 – 12/1
    11/4 – 14/1
    3/1 – 16/1
    10/3 – 16/1
    7/2 – 18/1
    4/1 – 20/1
    9/2 – 22/1
    5/1 – 25/1
    11/2 – 25/1
    6/1 – 28/1
    13/2 – 30/1
    7/1 – 33/1
    15/2 – 33/1
    8/1 – 35/1
    9/1 – 40/1
    10/1 – 45/1

Prices go right up sonic anyone is interested I can email them the chart. Just right the bet out on a regular betting slip.

  83. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Not competing at all Milesey. Your bets make my bets look like pocket money? You must be minted eh. Good on you.

  84. Greg Browning 11 years ago

What a day for the bookies!! Celtic, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsa all shock results! Doubt we’ll be hearing how much they have made today – had they all won however, we’d be hearing sob stories abou how they lost millions today!! Great day though for corners, bookings, over 2.5 goals and BTTS! I’m no longer doing teams to win unless its a single!!

  85. Alex 11 years ago

Hi can Milesey please email me, I would like to talk to him about a personal matter, but can’t seem to be able to contact him through the website.

    Thanks Alex.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

How can i email you ?

Send your email to Mr Fixit and he’ll pass it onto me.

      thank you

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Email and I’ll pass it on.

  86. john g 11 years ago

Good win, Chris guy. I always doubted you’re choice of goalscorers but its came good, probably proved a point today as well. I hope you’re right with 1-0, 2-0 psg that’s what I’ve got.

  87. Jonathan Grieve 11 years ago

U’ve had some weekend Milesey. U mugged Biff Tannen for his Sports Almanac?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

hahaha, that was on itv2 earlier wasn’t it ;) haha,

  88. Chris Guy 11 years ago

PSG quiet tonight. All bets still running 1-0 and 2-0 looking good

  89. Milesey 11 years ago

TIGER 6 shots clear now, and taking this field apart ! Playing some amazing golf ! Amazing Eagle earlier, The Tiger of old seems to have made an appearance !

  90. Guido 11 years ago

Milesey, don’t see Tiger winning another major…too inconsistent now the weakish field he had up against him this week is his level now. the Mcillroys n other young guns etc have his number now. He played like an 18 hcper at times in the Ryder cup..wild duck hooks off the tee/slashing all over the shop…shit in fact!! nice win for ya tho

  91. Jonathan Grieve 11 years ago

    It was that,lol

  92. Jonathan Grieve 11 years ago

Think his best chance is if he gets a British Open course where he can get round with 3wood and irons off the tee Guido. In saying that,I’d never write him off at the Masters and he’s came close a couple of times when he’s been terribly inconsistent like u say

    • Guido 11 years ago

Yeah, hez capable of 2 or 3 good rounds Jonathan of course…sheer experience will give him a smallish chance at the Masters but last year in the British open tho he was far too conservative, scared to take the driver oot the bag and was hitting 200 plus yards into small greens…no way yer gonna score like tha ya know? his putting has never been the same sice he was dipping into all those birdies either..:-)used to be rock solid…misses a lot now!!

  93. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Come on Ibrahimovic. 1-0 and 2-0 looking very good

  94. flyboivince 11 years ago

bet365 can well cashout or sellout a bet slip?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

you can’t cash or trade on bet365.

  95. Jonathan Grieve 11 years ago

Yeh that’s true, his putting under pressure definitely isn’t as good as it used 2 b. B interesting 2 see wot he does this year if he manages 2 stay fit all year

    • Guido 11 years ago

Jonathan just realised they are doing a quick turnaround and playing a 4th round today…woner if Tiger be at his capers/slashing em all over the shop and cursing..”Gad dammit Tiggggerrrrr!!” hahaha. even if he does hes 6 ahead…willna blow that..think I might just aboot hold on with that lead and I;m an 9hcp…er maybe not tho!! ;-)
Milesey did yuou realise they aredoing 2 rounds today to finish off?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Yes due to the fog the otherday.

They are playing till it starts to get dark, so maybe Tiger will get half way through the 4th round, then they are coming back monday to finish it off !

    • Guido 11 years ago

I think you’ll be guaranteed picking up winnings with a 6 shot lead no probs Milesey

    • Guido 11 years ago

Jonathan…no rough on this course 2nite, the drive Tigerrrr hit there wid be in 4 foot of hay at the British open/unplayable and widna find it at the US Open rough!! need to start making the fairway bunkers a lot deeper as well…watched Woods last year hit 230 yard from a fairway bunker onto the green??…ridiculous…they don’t punish stray shots..shood be penalised/have to get it oot sideways from fairway bunkers. Lytham made an ar$e of a lotta players last summer :-)

milesey do u know any online bookie that offer buy out on bet slips? i use bet365 n betvictor none of the both offer this

    • Milesey 11 years ago

BETFAIR, you can trade and cash out.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Flyboivince, I’m pretty sure William Hill and Ladbrokes off buyouts and most of the big bookies.

  98. flyboivince 11 years ago ruin my run

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Flyboivince, I’d always be reluctant to back Atletico without Falcao but Athletic looked good tonight, best they’ve been all season.

  99. Chris Guy 11 years ago

Pity Ibrahimovic didn’t score seeing that he was as short as 2/5 to score anytime but glad to get the 1-0 correct score up.

Overall profit of £760 today but should have been alot more.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Chris, just seen Mulgrew’s penalty which was a shocker as he tried to place it. But his long-range strike that gave you dough was last kick of the ball.

  100. john g 11 years ago

PSG 1-0 was my get out of jail card for all the shocking results today. Wasn’t even goin to do it, told the boys at work earlier I’m finished for good. Decided to nip in to the bookies on the way home and have one last try, I’m not really a fan of correct scores either. I think I might have read here last week about French games finishing 1-0 on Sunday nights. Might be something to keep in mind !!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, I’ve said that a couple of times on here. I took a couple of late French games for btts and they finished 1-0 then I tipped a 1-0 correct score, I think Marseille v St Etienne a couple of weeks ago. It was 1-0 last week and 1-0 tonight so quite incredible really.

  101. Guido 11 years ago

    Cape Verde 7/4 n Malaga 6/4 double..happy enuff

  102. Seamus 11 years ago

Barca minus 1 at halftime and psg win covered my terribly Sunday Saturday!

  103. John 11 years ago

I’m looking at tuesday nights games, a few anytime scorers would be nice, hopefully the likes of Benteke, Higdon, Vydra, Aguero, Michu and Daly will be playing

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, hopefully I’ll pick out some but won’t look at Tuesday until Tuesday morning when I get some latest team news.

  104. Jonathan Grieve 11 years ago

Yeh Guido,I like 2 see players plotting their way round the course but the way courses r set up just now it lets them just hit it as far as they can,as far offline as they want and get away with it. Not actually watching the golf just now,I’ve only got council telly, lol
