CELTIC'S recent home form has been patchy but they couldn't have asked for better opponents tonight as they look to set the record straight.

The Hoops' last Parkhead outing saw Leigh Griffiths rescue them with a last-gasp winner against Partick Thistle for a first win in five home games in all competitions.

That run included a 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock and 2-1 defeat to Hamilton and tonight it's another bottom-six side looking to stage a surprise as Hamilton head to Glasgow's east end.

Accies famously won at Celtic Park under Alex Neil a couple of seasons ago but are now stuck in a rut with just one win in their last 13 Premiership games and none in their last six.

They were also humiliated 4-1 by League Two Annan in the Cup and the 18-1 at bet365 for Martin Canning's men to triumph tonight says it all about their plight.

Celtic are just 2-11 at totesport but should win with plenty to spare now the feelgood factor is returning to Parkhead.

Ronny Deila's men thumped Dundee United 4-1 away on Friday night and the arrival of £1.5million new boy Erik Sviatchenko has given the club a big boost although he won't play tonight.

Their last meeting with Hamilton was a 4-0 thrashing and the Hoops on the minus two goal handicap pays 5-4 at Coral against an Accies side who have shipped four to Annan, Inverness and Dundee and three to Ross County and Motherwell in recent games.

Leigh Griffiths netted his 50th and 51st Celts goals on Friday – in just his 60th start – and is just 1-2 at William Hill to score and 5-2 at Paddy Power for the opener.

The hitman is in great form and to score two or more he's 5-2 at Betfred while I like the look of Skybet's 11-10 for Grffiths to outscore Hamilton.

Elsewhere, Forfar host junior side Linlithgow Rose in a Scottish Cup replay and there should be goals again after the 3-3 draw in the first tie. Both teams to score pays 19-20 at Ladbrokes.

Holders Inverness should see off Stirling at home in the replay but are just 1-5 at the likes of McBookie. Caley should score at least two against the bottom-tier outfit who've conceded six in their last two league outings.

There's also eight FA Cup ties tonight where team news is vital, especially when Premier League sides are involved as some of them will field weakened sides.

I’ve had mixed views on Forfar game… From looking at the last game btts looks promising but then again Tottenham vs Leicester was 2-2 first game and finished 1-0 next so it all depends…

Any views of club friendly game between Dortmund and Sparta Prague.. BTTS or over 1.5 looks good to me any thoughts?

Alfie, Dortmund game looks good for goals as long as they put out a decent line-up, worth checking the teams before kickoff

Will do thanks bud, not sure when kick off is can’t find the game stuck looking in and out of fag breaks at work!

Alfie, kickoff is 6pm and Dortmund line-up is strong: Bürki – Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Park – Weigl, Gündogan – Mkhitayran, Castro, Reus – Aubameyang

Hmm seconds thoughts the early game always messes my bets up so going to leave well alone but if anyone was thinking about putting any on I would probably say over 1.5 goals looking at dortmunds previous games.

alfieoc, difference between the Spurs and Forfar matches is that the English teams changed line-ups while tonight both will play their strongest sides. at junior level there are more goals because the defending is poorer so as long as Rose are on their game it should come up.

Oh don’t worry Mr F I have BTTS so fingers crossed… I was only stating it so other people don’t see a high scoring match and expect the same after kind of like the Liverpool United second game ending 1-0. Junior is always good for goals I just didn’t want to post something backing BTTS and it ends up 2-0 Forfar or along them lines. I’m going to post my bet for tonight and let me know what you reckon as once again I was one off one two bets at the weekend just gone!

    CELTIC VS HAMILTON TIPS

Celtic should win this with a few to spare and just to remind people that Willie Collum’s is the ref for tonight’s game. Also with Celtic expected to get a few on the score sheet what about big Croatian Simonovic to net again. He’ll be up there in the box again for set pieces after scoring his first goal for the hoops on Fri night against Dundee Utd. He’s available at 12/1 with BETFRED to score anytime which represents decent value.

CELTIC TO BE WINNING AFTER 30 MINS @ 17/20 (HILLS)
    PENALTY AWARDED @ 11/4 (HILLS)
SIMUNOVIC ANYTIME GOALSCORER @ 12/1 (BETFRED)
