IT'S been a decent week highlighted by two Super Singles and two winning top trebles.

Buoyed by that success I'm taking on the four games in Spain, Italy and Portugaland Italy tonight and offering up another Super Single and treble.

Barcelona are in Spanish Cup action away to Osasuna but how will Pep Guardiola approach the match with his side leading 4-0 from the first leg?

I'm pretty sure he won't be gung-ho and we could see an expansive passing game similar to the one that gave his men a 1-0 win away to L'Hospitalet in the previous round.

Osasuna are of course a much better, sit fifth in La Liga after a great start and are unbeaten at home this season.

But they have conceded 12 in their last two games to Barca and must fear the worst even though stars such as Andres Iniesta and possibly Lionel Messi will be rested.

Bookies aren't taking any chances by offering Barca at a biggest 2-5 (William Hill) while Osasuna are as big as 17-2 at Chandler.

Guardiola won't want to see his men getting complacent after being held by Espanyol at the weekend and I reckon Barca will win this by one. Consider them at 11-8 with William Hill and bet365 to win to nil while draw/Barca HT/FT at 4-1 with William Hill is tempting.

In the absence of Iniesta and Messi, former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas is worth a look at
9-2 at bet365 to score first and he's 13-10 at unibet to hit the net at any time.

If anyone fancies Osasuna on the handicaps they are 4-5 with Betfred plus one two and 11-5 at Coral plus one.

The other Spanish tie sees Athletic Bilbao trying to finish off Albacete after a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

The la Liga side are a best 4-11 with William Hill and should do the business.

In Italy, you are unlikely to see Napoli hero Edson Cavani for the cup clash at home to Cesena but his side should still win.

Napoli have beaten Palermo and Genoa 3-1 and 6-1 in their last two while Cesena have lost their last two matches 4-1 and sit second bottom of Serie A.

The last two meetings between the sides have ended 2-0 and 4-0 to Napoli who have led at the break on both occasions. They are a biggest 2-5 with William Hill to win and to be 4-5 at Coral to be leading HT/FT.

And I'm risking Napoli on the handicaps by taking them minus one at 5-6 to Blue Square. For the even more ambitious you can have 11-5 with Coral minus two.

The one Portuguese Cup clash sees Academica meet Oliveirense in the semi-final first leg. Acdemica with home advantage should edge it. They are a best 8-13 at bet365.

Defo like the look of Napoli (-1)… will wait and check the team news though first (for both home and away sides) before laying anything down. Same with Barca. Good luck,

It’s the best policy to be honest.

Willie, varous reliable sites have got team news but nothing is set in stone apart from no Iniesta.

    • Mr Fixit 13 years ago

Willie, no Iniesta as I knew and no Messi either. Starting line-up: Pinto, Montoya, Piqué, Fontàs, Adriano, Mascherano, Thiago, Sergi Roberto, Alexis, Pedro, Cuenca. Roberto’s been tipped on the site and other possibilities for first goal will be Cuenca or Thiago.

Lee, still not sure how much motivation Barca have for this game. Minus one is asking a lot.

Got a tenner on osasuna ht barca ft at 20/1 just turned it back on and it’s 1-1. Barca owe me one!!

    • Mr Fixit 13 years ago

Steven, some good bets up for you. I was happy to get my treble up in the end with Napoli and Barca coming from behind. And anyone who added Academica to make it a fourfold was even luckier as they hit a 90th-minute winner.

I stuck 50 on Napoli at h/t 0-1 down to come back and win 2-1 at 5/2. Could be a decent night!
