IT was hot stuff with the Chilean Cup pick yesterday but looking to cool things down with a trip to Iceland.
I’m taking a Valur side in fine fettle to give IBV a dose of IBS – the hosts face the table-toppers on the back of a mixed (but not disgraceful) start to the campaign in which they sit second bottom.
The two sides have faced off five times in an almost exact 12-month spell so H2H data is both recent and relevant – Valur have scored a brace in 100 per cent of those matches and hit a hat-rick in 60 per cent.
The wider picture reflects the visitors' preponderance of goals and although I usually back corners in Valur’s games the fact they have scored 2+ in 16 of their last 18 successive games is hard to ignore.

@hullshaker , I cannot take any credit for my first and only bet I placed today. That’s largely down to why I never posted. I had not read your Valur tip prior to dropping my pot on them, it was only @4/6 for the straight win and although the ht stats were largely unimpressive, I stuck with it and although it came up a goal shy for yours, it was enough to land my bet, not a big profit but £16 up is a profit.
In todays sparse card, Valur was the only one that gave me the alarms bells. I remembered you last tipped them on the corners, although I never saw any stats anywhere to see if that landed for you. It was enough for me to look closer at that match. So a huge thanks from me for slapping it on my radar.
Just one more for me tonight, although they’re really misfiring, I fancy Cruzeiro to do the biz away to Parana, they’re around 23/20 with most bookies.
