IT'S been a tough week and at first glance Monday looks like a card that won’t help matters but there is one exception if you don’t mind drilling down into the English lower league and it looks a cracker.
Carshalton v Dorking (7.45pm)
I’ve picked out Carshalton twice this season and both the team and their games didn’t let me down on the goals front – a visit from table-topping and free-scoring Dorking certainly adds an extra bit of appeal!
No doubt both teams are in a rich vein of form in front of goal with Carshalton crashing in 23 team goals in 11 and the Wanderers whacking 38 in their last 18 but there’s more than just the current picture to draw on here with H2Hs offering even more attraction.
These two have faced off 6 times in the last 3 years and it’s fair to say there’s been plenty of action with scorelines (starting with the most recent) as follows: 2-1, 1-3, 3-3, 2-1, 1-0 and
0-4. Worth noting Dorking definitely hold the hoodoo with the 4 victories being theirs!
