RATHER than partying in Paraguay I ended up getting annoyed in Asuncion as Olimpia bellyflopped.
Looking for a shot at redemption from cooler climes and not for the first time it’s destination Iceland.
It’s a tasty looking Urvalsdeild card with all 4 fixtures A-OK for goals. Fourth and fifth-placed KR and Grindavik are in fine form and should battle out a belter while the other three matches feature 3 of the best sides taking on the bottom trio of Fylkir, Fjolnir and the doomed Keflavik.
It’s the latter team’s match that interests me the most and after 6 back-to-back losses, a visit by the very impressive Breidablik will not be a match they will relish the prospect of.
Breidablik are unbeaten in 7 and their only two losses in the last 10 came against Valur and Stjarnan … the only two sides level or above them.
Keflavik have conceded at least two in 10 of their last 13 matches and I can’t see home form helping them out here – it’s actually an even worse picture as they have conceded 2-2-4-3-2-2 in successive games at the Nettóvöllurinn.
So can the side who flattened FH 4-1 and violated Valur in the cup in recent weeks manage to put the kosh on Keflavik? I reckon they can.
- Beidablik over 3.5 goals
- (11-8, bet365)
Over 2.5 Goals
- FH
- Fylkir
- Keflavik
- KR
- (6.25-1, bet365)
They love a late goal in ??
