HullShaker’s Tips – Can Santos make the corners count?

I'M taking a leaf out of resident corner guru Craig Alves' book – he can sniff out a Brasilian quicker than a ferret down a trouserleg!

SANTOS VS. BAHIA (10.15pm)

Santos were THE in-form side and my go to team for goals earlier in the campaign but have since been overtaken and now sit 3rd but with this as a game in hand – they'll be looking to close the gap but Bahia won't make it easy and are in pretty good away form themselves having recently beaten an on-form Gremio outfit last time out!

But, it's not goals that appeal here, it's corners – I've pulled together 3 key statistics that stand out:

Recent H2H cc: 12,10,13,14,11

Santos recent cc/home: 12,5,14,11,14

Bahia – recent cc/away: 16,11,12,7,7

The line stands at 10 so it's easy to see the appeal with just 1 of the last 5 H2H's falling short alongside just 1 of the hosts last 5 home games – throw in Bahia's own recent record and resurgance and we could have a steadily rising corner count racking up over the 90 minutes!
