EARLY post for Saturday on what’s a pretty tight domestic card but one game has kept my interest all week.
CHESTERFIELD v BILLERICAY TOWN (3pm)
FA Cup action at The Proact Stadium and by hook or by crook, Billericay battled their way out of Essex via a win against Taunton to pave their way up that great Asphalt pathway to the North.
I’ll not regurgitate what I’ve posted about Tamplin’s money buying a way above standard squad for their step but it’s a pretty impressive Billericay beast that meets in Chesterfield and given the hosts pattern of low-scoring and drawn games, the lower league side have every chance of heading back down The Great North Road with the bit firmly between their teeth.
