THINGS have been a little on the crazy side with work the last few weeks and I haven't the time to post as much as I used to but when I get the chance, I always will as a more detailed write-up helps to clarify my own thoughts!
There are two games that catch my eye today and whilst the former is based around knowledge and instinct, I'd be lying if I said the latter wasn't influenced by a sign from above in light of a certain someone's timely demise!
CEARÁ vs AVAÍ (8pm)
Two of Brazil's Serie A's strugglers meet in this one and despite the misfortunes of both I'd say it's Avaí who will be on the receiving end here.
Ceará have hit a double against Avaí in 4 of the last 6 H2Hs and can capitalise by gaining some much-needed points against a side with the worst in g/d in the division. At -23 Avaí are 20 goals worse off than the hosts and look to be dead and buried.
Conversely, Ceará have been tighter in defence and a win tonight will take them out of the drop zone and above CSA whom they have a game in hand on.
- Ceará over 1.5 team goals
- (1/1, bet365) NAP ⭐⭐⭐
QUEEN'S PARK vs PRISON SERVICE (9.30pm)
The Trinidad & Tobago action is getting back under way and, as summer gives way to autumn, these ‘island' leagues have offered some welcome overseas action over the years.
This game hails from the Super League One and sees Queen's Park play host to one of the two Prison Services' sides in a fixture that saw scorelines of 0-1, 4-3 and 3-1 within the last 12 months.
It's certainly not one to go mad on but there's more than a chance of goals.
- Over 3.5 match goals
- (5/4, bet365) NB ⭐⭐
