ALL paths lead to Paraguay for my main Friday selections and I reckon the hosts will be too hot to handle for the visitors.

CERRO PORTEÑO v NACIONAL (11.45pm)

Cerro continue their great vein of form and have carried on where they left off in the Clausara with a superb start which sees them 2nd top in the Division Profesional table with only the mighty Olimpia sitting above them – worth noting they even held the leaders to a 2-2 draw just 5 days ago!

The same can hardly be said for Nacional who have got off to the wrong type of flyer and now sat 2nd bottom after harvesting just 3 points from their openin fixtures.

The visitors may well struggle in this encounter and will be up against a Cerro outfit who have hit 2-3-3 team goals in their last 3 domestic league games as well as H2H totals of 1-3-5-1-3-2-0-2-6 in the most recent 9 meetings.

I said I would post the month totals from the 22nd January so here they are – after a great first 3 weeks or so topping out over 20+ points profit, it has all gone horribly wrong in as bad a run as I've had in the last 2 years.

It is what it is though and makes for painful reading – there are only a couple of bets I genuinely regret taking on and most were reasoned and researched soundly – last night's Strongest game was a perfect example with both bets posted ‘ahead of the market' as prices steadily coming in during the day but to no avail.

Rotten luck but will keep at it and make sure the swing turns again!
