IT'S been a great week and looking to make it 4 successful NAP and NBs on the bounce with a a helping hand from the return of The Bolivian Primera!
ALWAYS READY VS. SPORT BOYS
Destination Estadio Municipal El Alto for me this evening as the Bolivian Clauara kicks into gear – there is massive favouritism for the hosts but that may just open up a chink in the bookies armour in a league where anything is possible!
It's easy to look at Always Ready's last 3 games of the Apertura and draw the conclusion that they had a rip-roaring end to the campaign on their (artificial!) home turf and I'm sure those 3 matches of 5-0, 6-0 and 5-0 have much to do with the bookies pricing of the markets.
But, and (like Craneguy) it's a big but, those 3 games were pretty meaningless matches with all 3 sides resigned to mid-table obscurity by that point – personally, I wouldn't put too much weighting towards it and Sport Boys have every chance of finding the net…something they did in both of 2019's H2H's in Match and January!
Statistics aren't everything but in this league they genuinely can influence where the value lies and trawling through the figures, how's about this one: Sports Boys (despite their indifferent form) have scored at least one goal in 31 of their last 40 consecutive matches – that's just shy of a 78% strike rate and can't be ignored!
Two selections that I just think are a touch on the generous side for what could be a cracking opener in Bolivia!
