Rizz is busy tonight and has left Cairnzy in charge of both racing threads. Rizz will return on Sunday evening with Monday's card.
Unfortunately, neither of Rizzel’s Saturday selections got the job done for him. Tutti Quanti was a faller. I never caught the race, so I’m unsure if it was an early fall or if he fell whilst in contention. Sans Bruit was his other selection, and that one was soundly beaten by over 20L.
Rizz also put up King Of Answers as an ante-post bet for the Scottish Grand National. The selection was tipped up at a price of 8/1, and was sent off nearly half the price at 9/2. He made a bad blundewr early into the race, which definitely reduced his chances of winning. He stayed in the race till two from home, then he was pulled up.
Park Annanciade 9/4 – Stratford 16:53
I’ve done my study on this race before any odds have been released. I’m hoping we get around 5/2 for my selection Park Annanociade as I think he has it in the locker to go in again for trainer Sarah Humphrey.
My selection was last seen hosing up at Huntingdon at the start of the month. He put in a cracking round of jumping that day, barely putting a foot wrong and stayed on well in the end to win comfortably by 7L.
Park Annanociade has risen 6lb for that comfortable success last time out, but the manner in which he won suggests to me that he’s more than capable of defying the 6lb rise at a course which should suit his style of running.
Jockey James Bowen replaces Tom Cannon in the saddle. I think James will keep things simple on this horse, and if he’s able to get him into a rhythm, then he could be tough to beat.
