Lucky 15 Racing Tips

As of today, our resident horse racing tipsters Cairnzy and Rizzel will be putting up a daily Lucky 15 bet.

These types of bets aren’t for everyone, but everyone has a different way of betting and the Lucky 15 is one of the more popular bets for horse racing fans as you can effectively stake a low amount on the multiples of the four selections and can get a big return if all four horses win, or even three, depending on the odds.

Monday's Lucky 15 tips

Rizzel's tips

Pontefract 3.15 – Sunshine Soul 6/1

Sunshine Soul deserves another chance based on her debut run at Nottingham. She was behind the well-talented Leovanni who went on to win at Royal Ascot on her next start. She seemed in need of further on debut, and her run at York wasn’t ideal as the trainer has come out and said the ground was against her that day and she was eased when not appreciating the softer ground. With a firmer surface, combined with a stiff finish and an extra furlong to run over, her odds look very appealing, especially when the favourite is carrying a penalty.

Worcester 5.30 – Boot ‘n’ Shoe 16/1

Rebecca Menzies sends a rare runner to Worcester. They clearly feel like the 400-mile round trip is worth travelling for this Class 0-95 which is only worth £3,248. The form at first glance doesn’t look particularly strong, but if you’re willing to look past his run from last time out, the Kelso race is decent. He was 4th/16 at Kelso, but the easy winner was clearly ahead of the handicapper as he went on to win next time out. The runner-up arrived to Kelso on the back of three wins in his previous four and the third-placed horse won on his next start. Boot ‘n’ Shoe is 5lbs lower than he was at Kelso and this is a slightly worse grade.

Cairnzy's tips

Worcester 4.30 – Vocito 11/10

The form of Captain Attridge's recent runner-up finish at Hereford hasn't worked out well and although Henry Oliver's gelding commands respect, I opted to look elsewhere. I think the current market favourite vocito is the more solid option, his price is reflective of that but he appears to have turned a corner since joining the Olly Murphy yard. His most recent outing at this same track resulted in a smooth four and a half length victory and there's every chance he can build on that in this contest.

Pontefract 4.15 – Late Arrival 11/4

My selection Late Arrival comes with risks as he's not won on turf since July 2022. Regardless, he showed signs of a revival when finishing second at Thirsk in his most recent outing a few weeks ago. He's competed off higher ratings in the past and this looks like an ideal opportunity to get back to winning ways. Last time-out winner Daytona Lady looks like the main danger and should also run well at this level.

WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?

A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:

– 1 fourfold accumulator

– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections

– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination

– 4 singles

The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.

So if all these lose it -15 points on the joint points system.
Or have I got it wrong ??
Including the 4 singles that’s 19 points to play for per day ??

The profit and loss system is solely on the main thread Elvis.

I think you’ve misunderstood the point system as well as I don’t understand your -15 points comment and staking 19 points per day.

We will never advise people on how much money to stake and whether people want to stake on each selection is solely down to themselves.

1point from my view would be a £10 stake and that’s what I’ll be basing the main thread off, of course everyone stakes differently. From working within the betting industry before, most punters stake a standard £1 Lucky 15 which equals a total stake of £15. So if tracking the lucky 15 thread it would 1.5 points per day, however, myself and rizz are solely tracking the main thread.

Most sites have a lucky 15 section, which is why we’ve introduced it to MFT. From checking other forums, most do not track it. In my view it’s more a fun bet but again that’s my opinion.

I hope this clears everything up.

I’m a bit like Elvis I’m lost lol. There are 4 other horses as well on the other thread so if there your best bets why Ali’s the lucky 15 different? It’s like 8 horses a day being picked even if a person does quid lucky 15 then quid win on separate 4 that’s almost 20 quid a day (600) a month!

Correct sea biscuit, it’s 19 points/units/ quid how ever you like to describe it

It’s up to you how you alter your stakes but a single is one unit, a double is 2 units treble 3 units lucky 15 is 15 units etc

Plus the hidden bets as recently doubles have been claimed as winners when not listed at the top of the page.

Meant to say single is 1 unit, 2 singles is 2 units, 3 singles is 3 units and a lucky 15 is 15 units for tracking purposes plus the hidden doubles that would be claimed if they came in on the other thread .

All adds up to confusion then throw in the combined rizzell and cairnzy tracking system 🤔

No need for all this nonsense in my opinion but if it’s what the punters here want so be it.

Tracking is allegedly to track form, the competitors produce form , gamblers are what it says on the tin, guessers, hoping to have a run of LUCK.

no such thing as form as far as tipsters go, it’s just runs of good and bad luck.

I’ve seen all this here countless times folk start putting up points, start crowing when they are in profit and when figures start to dive they either reset the figure back to zero or vanish for a while and return with a zero figure to start the cycle all over again

Anyway each to their own if that’s what folk want

totally confused this dosent make sense . ,The bookies have already reduced one winner to double the odds down from treble which now means you have to get an 8/1 winner just to get your money back (so cant see the point of putting 11/10 in a lucky 15 either).

The reason people did lucky 15 is because of the one winner thing with treble odds .Which has now been taken away.

Surely be better to suggest combination bets on your main selections and then use in points system

I can’t simplify the points system down any further for you to understand Elvis.

Firstly I’ve stated on multiple occasions that we are not tracking this thread, this is a completely separate thread for those who enjoy a L15 bet. We’ve been asked to introduce it and that’s what we’ve done. It’s really as simple as that. If you don’t want to follow the bet then don’t.

4 selections on the main thread is what we are tracking on a daily basis, one selection = 1 point. A point you can track as £1, £10. We personally track as one point as £10, but everyone stakes differently.

Just touching on what Cairnzy has said about the point systems. It’s used to suggest how confident you are in a bet. If not stated, the bet will be 1pt win on the nose, if it’s said as EW it will be 0.5pt EW. There will be times when we put up a 2pt win, or 1pt EW selection etc.

If you look across the internet and take a look at every other tipping site/tipster they use this system. Whether you guys want to pay attention to it, that’s up to you, but it’s a guide, especially for new people to the thread.

As Cairnzy has said, we was approached to do a Lucky 15 segment. It’s a popular bet for your more ‘casual’ punters. If this is is something you don’t want to partake in, don’t click it.
Going off your 15pt lucky 15, it’s really not hard to understand.
    – For arguments sake, you place £1 on a Lucky 15 bet, that’s £15, if you’re betting £10 per point, that’s 1.5pts on a bet.
    – If you place £1 as a 1pt stake, you’d do 10p Lucky 15 which would be £1.50.

I don’t see the urge to suddenly hate against something, if you don’t like it, don’t bet on it, it’s your choice, we’re not force feeding it to you.

I’m glad to be back and working alongside Cairnzy, but there’s far too much negativity. Let’s crack on and give each other winners in the comments instead.

Great new thread guys, personally I think it’s great & shows a willingness to grow & develop not just the thread but punters understanding… which hopefully amounts to a bit of bookie bashing 🙌
    Good luck all

It doesn’t make any sense to me at all . If on the other thread they are the best bets then why is that not the lucky 15 ? Just very interesting

I’m with Elvis and bustop don’t think this has been thought through whatsoever guys . You will get a day (maybe today) it rocks in and win lots but your basically advertising people to spend 20 quid a day.

What don’t you understand? It’s getting tedious repeating the same stuff now. A point system, is up to you on however much you spend.

I.E. 1pt could be a £10, but for another person it’s £1 per point. It’s all relevant to how much you’re happy to gamble and got in your betting bank. Stop saying we’re telling you to spend £20 a day, no one is telling you to. If you want to spend £20, that’s not on us, at the end of the day you decide what to bet on, we don’t have control of your fingers clicking your bet slip, nor the amount you spend.

    Correct rizzell .

People have different staking plans but as far as your tracking goes 1 unit is 1 tip.
Not this some are 2 and some are 1.

Every tip should be banker in your eyes or why put it up.
If there’s only one banker just post one.
    If there’s 4 post 4 but all 1 unit/ 1 point etc

And the joint fracking figure is a joke.
    One has 2 winners
    One has 2 losers
That covers up the losses of the losing tipster.
    .
What I’d like to have seen is 2 tips from each of you with separate win/loss stats so those who follow blindly know who is more likely to produce results.
And those 4 combined into a lucky 15 for those interested.

Having worked in the betting industry, lucky 15 bets were one of the biggest money spinners for bookies,1 selection loses and your bet becomes a patent, tracking your lucky 15 bets is just nonsense, as the lads have stated these bets are just fun bets and not bets that would contribute regularly to profit making in my opinion.
Keep up the good work lads, you are doing a great job and as we all know horse racing is a lottery and arguably the most corrupt sport of them all.
