IT'S part 2 of the treble header between St Johnstone and Celtic as they meet at McDairmid Park.
The sides faced each other on Wednesday with Celtic running out easy 2-0 winners and they certainly enjoy their trips to Perth having win last 6 of the last 7. Apologies for the late post on this game, for some reason I had in my head it was a later KO.
St Johnstone vs Celtic (12.30 pm)
Will keep this short and sweet – despite having assembled the best squad at Perth for many a year, St Johnstone are still way behind Celtic and that's to be expected given the huge gulf in resources.
The last time Celtic were in Perth they ran out 6-o winners – and looking at the St Johnstone line-up today boss Tommy Wright is going for it with Danny Swanson and Matty Kennedy supporting Tony Watt up front.
This should leave space in behind and for us to get a result we need to be on top of our game and hope Celtic have an off day. Too much quality in that Celtic team though and I think they will run out easy winners again, similar to Wednesday's score.
Ross Callaghan and Murray Davidson have the task of stopping Celtic in the middle of the park – both are aggressive players and love to get stuck in – can see b0th being booked today trying to contain Celtic's quick passing.
